Amelia Hendricks was not in love with Cora Hale.
They were best friends, nothing more.
They made friendship bracelets, would play hide and seek, constant card games, and pulled pranks on the their brothers.
Just because they wanted to spend every waking minute together, and enjoyed every second of it, doesn't mean they're in love or anything.
"Do you know what a twin flame is?"
Amelia and Cora were working on their respective homework in Cora's bedroom. Amelia lying stomach-down on the bed, while Cora was sitting at her desk. Amelia had been working on some math homework, the same ones that she probably should have started days ago 'because she was pretty much cramming at that point. Cora, however, had been clicking through the computer that she was borrowing from her mother. Amelia had no idea what she was working on, but from her intense concentration, it seemed to be important.
