The sound of pounding hooves are heard all around, all besides the shouting and screams of soldiers.

This is a nightmare. A truly horrifying nightmare.

You were suppose to return back with your squad a while ago, but God knows where they are now. You're pretty sure most of them are dead by now, anyway.

Doesn't matter though. Only thing that does matter is to find them and find Levi and Erwin and Hanji.

Most importantly, Levi.
You're future husband-to-be.

Of course you were being selfish, but everyone becomes selfish when that forbidden word is heard.

He's the only one left in this Titan abyss anyway, so why bother trying to save the ones you already have knowledge of that are long-gone?

Its pointless, you think. All this shouting and crunching and screaming and running happening around you is just too much right now.

Finally, a neighing sound is heard from ahead. Its a distinct one, one that you've heard many times before.

You never thought you'd call out to him, give him the satisfaction of your voice with his name hitting his ears. Screaming it, wishing he'd oblige or come back or anything.

That was all forgotten last night, though.

Last night, before this horrid scene occurred.

He had promised you. Promised you, that when things go to worse he'd meet you at a certain place.

The tree back in the forest you two had first spoken to at.

You turn to look at him, eyeing the corporal for the first time up and down. Before, you'd be so timid that whenever he would pass your body you would go stiff as a board, and all you'd choke out was : "Y-yes, sir! The barracks are clean!" Or "I-I brought you your paperwork from Commander Erwin, sir."
