Chapter 1

Zach's P.O.V

I wasn't always gay. I swear. But the day I met Matthew Espinosa, I knew it was love at first sight.

-3 years ago-

"Did you hear about that new kid, Matthew?" My friend Mya said.

"I heard he is supposed to be hot!" Mya continued. I sat there keeping to myself until the new kid Matthew walked in.

I felt all eyes turn to him, including mine. He was led in by one of the un-popular girls, Mia. After Mia left, Matthew came to sit by us.

"So." Mya paused. "You're the new hot kid." She said giving him an eyebrow twitch.

"What's it to Ya." Matthew said smirking at me. A few minutes later he was drawn away by another crowd to lame for us to name.

They asked a plethora of questions including;

"Want to hang out after school?" Or "Can I show you to your next class." But Matthew turned them all down and said he 'had it covered.'

As the day went on I couldn't stop thinking about his smirk. And his floppy hair sitting on top of his forehead. I shook my head noticing all the questioning faces turned to me in my History class.

"Mr. Charron?" My History teacher, Ms. Blunt said sternly.

"Umm Africa?" I said not knowing what she was asking me.

"I'll let this go. But just this once." Ms. Blunt said winking at me. After class it was 7th period and time to go home.

I went out into the parking lot and unlocked my car to find Matthew standing already beside it.

"Nice ride." He said referring to my Eco-friendly tricycle. "Can I get a ride?"

I nodded while putting my fanny-pack on. I moved up a bit as Matthew wrapped his arms around my waist and I got the butterflies. I started peddling and pulled out of the school.

"So." I said awkwardly. "Where are we going?"

"Take a right. Then a left. Then go into Rosewood Development and I'm the last house on the street." he said.

"Oh I live in Rosewood too." I said a little too excitedly. After three minutes of him snuggling his head into my shoulder we pulled up to his house.

"Here we are." He said. "Come inside."

"Okay." I said as he bit his lip and dragged me inside the abandoned house.
