Dark Cacao POV
I got to school later than my friends, Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, White Lily and Golden Cheese.
Yeah I know they sound like weird names but this town is known for their unique names and stuff like that. My name just so happens to fit in with theirs.
"There you are." Golden Cheese said with a smirk. "Took ya long enough."
"Sorry sorry, I woke up late."
"Well it doesn't look like you're too late, you got 7 minutes left till class starts." White Lily said. I nodded and started walking in the direction of my locker.

My friends were following me and when I got to my locker they stood next to me. Hollyberry came speed walking down the hall towards us.
"Hey guys, sorry I had to go to the bathroom. Hey Dark Cacao!" I blushed. The words wouldn't come out of my mouth. It's been like this for a while, but never this bad before.

See, I met my friends when I first started here. The first day of school and we were all talking to each other. Becoming friends already. I'm going to say it took about... two weeks before I realized...

I liked Hollyberry.

And now it was our 3rd year, and we were graduating next week. I really needed to tell her that I liked her because, me and my parents are moving back to our hometown after graduation.
But I didn't know what to say or do. I was too nervous to tell her or my friends. So how was I gonna do it in a week.

I then saw a hand waving in front of my face.
"Uhm hello..? Dark Cacao? Are you ok you look red." I snapped out of my thought.
"Huh? Oh! Um I'm uh fine." I quickly finished in my locker and shut it. I looked at the clock. 3 minutes.

"Aww you guys you didn't have to wait for me, your gonna be late!"
"Well so are you so why does it matter?" Hollyberry said.
"Well um... let's just go!" We all walked to our first hour. Then I realized I forgot something.

"Dang it I forgot my homework! You guys keep going I'll catch up!" I ran back towards my locker. I quickly put the code in and grabbed my homework. One minute left. I ran to my class.
Once I walked in the door the bell rang.

Yess made it.

I started walking towards my seat.
"Cutting it kinda close don't ya think Dark Cacao?" The teacher said.
"I know, I know. I forgot my homework so I didn't want to leave it in my locker." I said panting.
"It's fine, you're ok today." I sighed in relief. I looked at my friends who were scattered all over the room. The teacher took attendance. After he was done, he said,

"Ok everyone today we are changing seats. So stand up and go over there." He pointed by the door. I grabbed my stuff and stood in the front of the classroom. As he was pointing out seats I spaced out a little. Listening for me and my friends names.
"Golden cheese.." I heard
"Dark Cacao," I looked up and went to where he was pointing.

"Hollyberry." I jumped. Hollyberry? Why did he sit me next to Hollyberry? My face turned red as a quickly sat down. At the table next to me was Golden Cheese. Hollyberry went and sat at her seat..
Next to me.

My face was really red and really hot.
"Are you sure your ok Dark Cacao? You're really red.."
"I'm fine, I'm fine..." Golden Cheese must have seen me blush and put the pieces together cause she started giggling. I sank down in my chair. I sighed. The teacher walked over to his desk and started talking.

*Time skip to Lunch*

The rest of my friends were at our table already. Hollyberry was still in line for her lunch. I sat down and sighed. I was gonna tell them.
"Hey guys.. I have something to tell you." They all looked at me.
"What is it?" White Lily asked.
"Well you see um.. I- I like Hollyberry.." they gasped and looked at each other.

"Ooooooooh!" They all said in unison. I blushed.
"Ugh you guys... anyways I have to tell her by next week cause I'm going back to my hometown after Graduation."
"Oh yeah you might want to do that." Pure Vanilla said.
"But the thing is I don't know how to and I need help." They thought for a minute.
"Ooh! I know! Take her to her favorite spot and tell her!" White Lily exclaimed.
"The garden?"
"Yeah!"

"Yeah and we'll be spying on you..." Golden Cheese said with a smirk.
"Oh my god.." I said. Hollyberry walked up to the table.
"Hey guys!" I jumped (again)
"Dark Cacao I think you're sick.." Hollyberry said, concerned. I then realized I was blushing. And it wasn't helping that my face was getting redder at the minute. Why was I doing this? I've never done this before. Maybe it's because I'm leaving in a week.

"No no I swear I'm fine!"
"Hollyberry, did you ever think that he's....
Blushing?" Golden Cheese said.
"Blushing?" She said, raising an eyebrow.
"Mhm!"
"At what?" I stared at Golden Cheese with a look that said don't you dare. She shrugged.
"I don't know." I sighed in relief.
"Anyways, um do you think you could meet me in the garden after school?"
"Oh yeah! No problem!" Yesss

*Another Timeskip. After School*

I was sitting in the garden, waiting for Hollyberry. She walked up to me and sat next to me on the bench.
"Hey Dark Cacao! What's up?"
"So Uhm..." I looked to the bush next to me and saw Golden Cheese. At least I think I did.
"So what Golden Cheese said earlier about me being red because I was blushing... She wasn't wrong. It was blush."
"Really! Why were you blushing?"

"I was blushing at you."

Her eyes widened.
"A-at me?" I nodded.
"Hollyberry... I.. I like you." She was silent. A slight blush grew on her face while mine was completely red.

"I-" she was in shock. Her face grew red,
"I like you too." She had a soft smile.
"R-really?" She nodded,
"Mhm."
"Oh wow... How long?"
"About a year..."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I was afraid I guess... you're always so serious that I was scared you wouldn't accept me."
"Hollyberry... I, I would never do that!"

"Why didn't you tell me?" I sat for a moment and looked at the ground.
"I was scared too. I was nervous and I could never find the right time or way to do it."
"Well you didn't make that very obvious. Not till a couple days ago." She chuckled.
"So... Now what?" I said I was confused. After you tell your crush you like them, what do you do? She liked me back so do we date? Is it platonic?

"I think we date.. I'm not sure I've never done this before." She chuckled again.
"That would be cool." I looked at the ground blushing.
"Ok then, if that's the case." She grabbed my face and came closer to me. She kissed my forehead.
"Then let's start off with that." She smiled, and I loved it.
