Spebe just looked at Tiffany, struck with emotions.

"What do you mean... gay?" He asked.

"I... like... women?" Tiffany squinted and asked, confused. "I don't know why that would be confusing." She knew Spebe knew what she meant and he was just scared of gay people.

"I- I'm sorry but can you sit somewhere else?" Spebe asked. He looked away.
"I don't like your kind."

Tiffany looked shocked and walked to a different table. Danial got up and left as well.

"I'm sorry," Danial said to Tiffany as the sat across from each other. "I didn't know his homophobia was that bad." He leaned in towards Tiffany and glanced at Spebe.

"I'm actually bisexual." He smiled and adjusted his wire rimmed glasses. They both could tell that they automatically became best friends.

The rest of the school day was uneventful. The occasional glare everytime Danial or Tiffany would make eye contact with Spebe. The occasional scoff Spebe would let out everytime when he saw Danial at all.

Spebe never scoffed at Tiffany though. He still liked her... she was pretty and her confidence was through the roof.

Tiffany didnt like Spebe back. Oh no way in hell would she ever like him. Other than the fact Spebe was a hardcore homophobe, Tiffany was a lesbian. With a girlfriend.

After school Danial ran up to Tiffany.
"Hey!" He yelled, raising his hand to grab her attention. "My mom's getting pizza tonight. Wanna come over?"
Tiffany thought about it for a while. "Oh sure let me ask first." She pulled out her phone.
When she walked away to call her dad, Danial's phone chimed.

Spebe: open to reply

He opened it. His ex-lifelong friend just texted him, and immediately kicked Danial in the stomach with that one virtual sentence.

"She said I can go over but she wants to kno-" Dan looked over at Tiffany with tears in his eyes. Tiffany had no idea what was going on. "What's... wrong?"
