it had been awhile since mattia and kairi talked ever since finishing senior of high school. they did talk during their boys of summer tour but nothing special. until now . .

kairi went over to mattias house and was talking about the good times they had over the pasts years, including the ship edits their fans made. "dude remember our fans would ship us n shit? mad weirdd bruh" kairi spoke as he set down the xbox controller. "i know right, people did kill them edits though" mattia said in a neutral tone. "anything on your mind?" kairi spoke as he went to go sit on the taller boys bed. "actually yea, something is on my mind." mattia said while keeing eye contact with his shorter friend. "what is it?" kairi said. "i have tried to so hard to keep it all in for these past years . . " said mattia as his eyes watered. "what do you mean by that man?" kairi said as he stood to up to give mattia a comforting hug. "i . . i love you kairi, and not just in a platonic way. ive loved you ever since our fans started shipping us and I always played it off by covering it up with playful smiles and compliments." mattia said hugging kairi ever so tight. "oh well to be honest mattia . . i felt . . the same exact way until everything went down with us not talking to each other." kairi said letting go. "i know and i feel so shitty for that and how I know it hurt you " mattia said. "it is fine mattia dont worry, i love you man but i've moved on." kairi said giving mattia a slight peck on the cheek.

kairi left with saying they would still be best friends and that they could trust each other with anything. kairi infact did still have feelings but he realized it was just a 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 of what he felt the years before.
