NOT AGAIN

I finished lunch, and I grabbed my bookbag and raced out of school. It was a half day so rather than go party i'm going home instead. I ride my bike home, and I get inside. Dad won't be home for another day or two so I still have some time. I throw my bookbag onto the table, grab Hex and sprint to the basement. I start put the book on a alter looking thingie and start to let the book choose what page it lands on a page called 'How To Freeze People In Time' I started reading at first I was like Wow! cool! then i realize its only for a short amount of time, I start to practice and practice but it just won't work. "UGH" I said flopping back in a chair frusterated. "Maybe I need to try on a real person?" but who? I think and think "Preston?" I say to my self Ok. I'll call him I take a deep breath and type in his phone number "hello?" "hi Preston it's Alice" "oh hey Alice" "can you come over?" "sure cya there" "cya". He rings the doorbelle and I open the door and I start to talk but i'm cut off by another demon. AGAIN "Preston hide!" I shout I start to dodge things hits and I realize its like 10x stronger than me "Come on freeze spell don't fail me now!" I shoot a freeze spell and with my luck, it doesn't work. I can see Preston is as peterfied as Sara was. But now I have to get rid of this thing I start to cast a spell "You are here and as scary as can be go back to where you were thee" I scream and blast the spell at him he dissaperes but I know he isn't vanquished my spell either worked, or he left. "Preston! are you okay?" "yeah i'm fine" "wait, so your not leaving?" "why would I? you saved my life" "so um, I need to go now seriously my sisters play is going to start so um bye" "bye" Why do I beleive his sister actually had a play going on? but anyway I need to calm down, maybe I should actually do something tonight? maybe i'll go to dinner by myself tonight yeah, I will.
