A Night to Remember

As previously, Dick is dressed in silky green attire, now currently in a long black car driving to said party..
Robin sighed as soon as the car slowed to a stop, the door opening whilst the leader stepped out. He sat up straight, walking over to the large double doors, a man in a suit holding these grand doors open for those who may enter. As Grayson walked by, the apposed butler did a sort of courtesy..
"M'lady" He greeted kindly, letting Robin know that the disguise was working at least. He nodded back, wondering what he'd do about his masculine voice..

Dick narrowed his ruby red eyes as he caught sight of Wally, silently shuffling over to possibly start a conversation of if he is aware of the assassination supposed to take place. Specifically for him. He was pushed lightly to the side by wandering dancers. Robin tilted his head to the side slightly, remembering his friend and teammate's nickname..
Soon, the ginger caught eye of the silent beauty standing idle right at the edge of the dancefloor, apparently spacing off. Dick noticed the boy same aged as himself looking, so he looked away, closing the red eyes that usually told him apart from others.. or rather, those who'd seen his eyes. It's not like a woman would walk into a party wearing a type of mask Robin does.
He sighed and turned slightly, only to be met by a speedy teen in front of him, his silvery blue eyes studying him quietly.
Robin practically jumped back out of his skin '' HWOAH- ''He yelped, his body automatically wanting to get into a defensive position, but his brain said otherwise as Dick sort of looked like a frozen swan..
" Woah indeed, you're jumpy! " Wally teased, his eyebrows raising in amusement. The leader puffed up indignantly

'' And you're arrogant. '' Grayson spat back the words, his body resting once again, yet his arms crossed at his chest. He glared over at the young hero, much like himself..
" Aww.. You're so mean~ " Wally, yet again, teased whomst he would think is a girl.
Robin remembered how girls stand sometimes, tilting his hip to the side uncomfortably for his frame
'' And you're so annoying.. '' He brushed himself off, Wally reaching over to help, but his hand cut short by a quick smack away from Dick's own snake-like hand.

The Kid Flash snorted in more amusement, not having seen such a snappy girl at a party.. much less towards him. Most the time they try mooching up to him--
Robin isn't like that, he may be in disguise, but he has standards.
" Your.. dress is lovely. " Kid Flash attempted a compliment, making his freckled face go a sort of flushed color.. Grayson raised one eyebrow up
'' And your attitude is sickening.. but you look nice. Don't expect any more of that from me, Boltboy. '' Robin didn't get a chance to do anything before Wally began laughing heartedly, slowly dialing it down.
" Boltboy, huh..? Never heard that one, before ~! " He realized his behavior was probably only /attracting/ Wally rather than pushing him off, so Dick shook his head and walked off to find anyone suspicious.

Grayson ended up walking around the whole room with the dancefloor, even walking into the female bathroom.. even though he felt weird doing so.
Robin secured the knife on his thigh in one of the stalls before walking out, mumbling to himself whilst spacing out. He was mostly walking around mindlessly, so he ended up blinking and standing out on a balcony. Dick scoffed, but didn't go back inside.. Rather, he leaned over the railing and stared down at the grass below. He wondered why he kept spacing out until he heard light tapping from behind him.
Wally tilted his head, also tilting his body to see more of what the blackened haired beauty was doing. Robin heard the tapping and turned around slowly, one eyebrow raised curiously..
"You alright? You look like you've had enough of social interactions for one day~" Kid Flash seemed to love teasing them, doesn't he?
Robin leaned back against the rail, crossing his arms again.
'' I dunno, have you? If you're also out here.. '' Dick looked around, just realizing Wally was practically a rabbit in a field out here. He walked towards him, looking around a bit for anything that would shine off the setting sun's rays.
"Well, now.. You wanna dance?"
The boy asked nervously as the small woman walked over to him, standing right in front of his chest now.

Robin contemplated, but shrugged and took his hand, guiding and being guided to a slow dance on the descending light that made their eyes glow.. Blue and red, green and orange colors mixed with each other as the soft music also seemed to dance with them. Grayson heard the soft click of the door to the balcony open and close, his head swiveling over to glare at whomever was now standing near the thin white curtains that slowly brushed through the breeze..
Robin stepped back a bit as no one was there.. He grabbed Wally roughly by the shoulders and made him sit down against the railing. Just as he'd done so, a large frame of a man jumped out of the darkening shadows of the sky, sinking a blade into Robin's back shoulder.
Grayson screamed in pain, grabbing the blade he fortunately had on him. He elbowed the mysterious attacker in the cheek and sunk the wickedly curved blade in his hand into their skin and muscle. Robin didn't know exactly where he'd stabbed them, but from the way they howled out in surprise and pain told him he had hit a solid spot..
Wally tried getting up to help, seeing as Robin was by all means not a lady. He also noticed the other boy was unfortunately having to use his bad arm for fighting, since the other one was spewing crimson red droplets onto the stone balcony.
'' WALLY, SIT DOWN, THEY WANT TO KILL YOU- '' Robin yelled out, eventually getting tired of the small blades that seemed to be coming in and out of his body as they pleased, whilst he'd only apparently shanked them pretty hard in the thigh.. He groaned and flipped himself downwards, doing a handstand as he grabbed the attacker's head between his ankles and rocked his body, flinging them off into the darkening trees.

With that, Robin collapsed onto the ground with a grunt, his body hurting.. Wally's face showed that he felt guilty about not helping, but when he was told he was supposed to be killed, he seemed to freeze.
Once the black-haired teen had fallen in a spit of blood, Kid Flash had been snapped out of the frozen trance and rushed over to Grayson in only a second.

Dick sighed, taking off extra accessories gingerly, in not a lot but still immense pain. Wally huffed and scowled at Grayson
" Urrrgh- What's your name?! You're not a girl and you were obviously sent here to protect me! " Kid Flash scolded the leader, a hint of a growl in his throat..
Robin rolled his head to look up at Wally
'' Uhggh.. Robin.. It's Robin. Please just- elevate my head.. might not pass out that way. '' He mumbled, blood pooling into his mouth as much as he tried to stop it, the crimson red liquid sputtered out of the corner of his mouth. Kid Flash made a worried humming noise and set his head in his lap, looking up at the now crowd of people who were curious of the fuss.. A certain black bat shoved through the crowd of onlookers and picked up Robin roughly, holding him in a tight bridal style.. Wally jumped up
" Hey-! Be careful! We know Robin is your sidekick-- practically your son, eh? But um- Batman it's alright he's fine! " Kid Flash stuttered out the words of reassurance, reaching for Grayson.. He knew Batman could take care of the sidekick, but in his mind he wanted to just-- hold him. Wally felt like he now owes the leader for doing what he did, and felt protective.

Batman hesitated, jerking his body back away from the boy, same age as his adopted son.. At that moment, he realized how much emotion he was feeling towards Robin being hurt in front of these people, and went into his defense mode. Robin grunted as he was plopped into Wally's arms, still conscious. The Dark Knight huffed and frowned
" You can give him medical attention faster.. " He growled, but leaned forward to mumbled to the Kid Flash " I can't take him to the base in his condition, I /trust/ you to take care of my /sidekick/ any means necessary. "
The dark bat hissed in his ear, spitting out some words as if venom on his tongue..
Wally smiled nervously and nodded once
" Alrighty folks, there has been a change of plans! The party is cancelled, there has been an attempted assassination tonight.. Go home safe. " Kid Flash announced before speeding off at high speed, making Dick lean against Wally further.
'' Fast.. I'm tryna stay awake. '' Robin paused between his sentence, frightening Wally for a second before he spoke again
'' I'm gonna.. not be awake for a while. Alright--? '' Grayson muttered, sluggishly lifting his hand to pat Kid Flash's chest
" Uh-- Yeah! Yeah-- Just.. Please don't die-- Batman would /kill/ me! " Wally joked in order to get a reaction out of the leader, welp-- his responsibly for now! Great.. Robin didn't respond, he was currently battling a war to stay awake to reassure his new caretaker..
Despite this, Wally's heart was racing. For several reasons.
