The War

The final day was spent, Herb was acting normal as he still tried to keep himself together.  before he knew it, the skys were a blood red, crows filled the streets, the faint scent of red velvet scattered through the air and time had come. Herb walked into his house in a panic as he heard sirens nearby. He looked up and saw a murder of crows flying overhead and on them carried a Black Raisin. Herb ducked inside his hows as Black Raisin and her crows hit the floor. She looked around before her crows cawed out loudly. Red velvet emerged from the tree's with Pomegranate next to him, dragging his sword. After that, Licorice and Poison mushroom. Madeleine, Hollyberry and White lily emerge in front of the evil cookies. "what do you want!?" Hollyberry said, holding her sword out. "All we want is the kingdom" Red velvet said, rolling his claws and staring deeply at Hollyberry. "plus, we aren't here just for the kingdom" Pomegranate continued Red's sentence as Werewolf and Dark choco came out of the forest, standing beside the group. "We want your souls". Hollyberry and white lily looked at each other. "Never!" They said. Pomegranate smiled as Black Raisin raised her arm, sending thousands of crows there way. Hollyberry blocked them  with her shield, the others getting behind her. The crows quickly disappeared as Dark enchantress appeared behind the evil group and thus the fight broke out. All the cookies in the kingdom began to fight as Herb swooped up the kids and putting them inside his house. "Your king DEMANDS to fight!" Custard demamed. "i don't want you guys to die, okay?" Herb said, comforting Onion. "C'monnnnn!" Pancake groaned, putting his head down. "I wanna fightttt". "I don't want you to die" Herb said, getting a bit angry. "Pleaseeeeee?" Pancake asked. "for the last time NO" Herb covered his mouth. "I'm so sorry-" Herb apologized. Tears formed in Pancakes eyes as he ran out the door. "Oh god-" Herb worried, looking at the other kids. "Stay here, there's food in the fridge and-" Herb picked up Squid, handing them a coin. "here!" Herb smiled before a desperate knock was on the door. Herb opened it carefully to see a beat up Sparkling and a worn out Vampire. "jesus!" Herb supported Vampire and Sparkling, bringing them to the couch as the children ran around and the fight outside got rougher and louder. "what happened?" Herb asked, giving them blankets. "We fought and we thought we could at least take out the 7 year old, Werewolf" Sparkling said. "But, Dark enchantress stopped us and Sparkling's healing wore out, we would of died if we hadn't come here" Vampire said. Herb sat next to them. "The children are safe but Pancake ran out" Herb explained. "I accidentally yelled at him and he ran out, crying". "are you stressed at all?" A voice said from behind the group. A very poor looking Alchemist walked in, closing the door behind her. "My lab got blown up but here" she offered a potion to the three of them. Herb pushed it away and pointed to Vampire and Sparkling. "they need it more" Herb smiled as Alchemist handed the potion to Vampire and Sparkling as the fight outside grew more foul
