Darkness...that's all he saw with his eyes. But there was a completely different thing that he needed to do. He had to use his old and rusty echolocation.
Gregor clicked once
Behind me
He turned then clicked again
To my right...he's playing with me.
This went on for another 2 hours until it was time for lunch.
"Your rusty Gregor. Did you not train in the Overland?" Ripred said with a sigh.
"Well sorry my mom was so paranoid. "
"Well you must have to be going. We'll work on your echolocation."
"Fine whatever." Gregor said as he was heading out of the cave.
Once Gregor was back at the arena and found Blaze he headed back.
