In Which The Twins Come Home

It's the year of the twin's Sixteenth birthday, meaning they're fifteen as they sit on a near empty bus to one Gravity Falls, Oregon.

Dipper is scrunched up in the window seat, short messy brown hair secured under his signature pinetree cap, an unbuttoned blue flannel over a white tshirt and a pair of tan cargo shorts on his person. A blue notebook with silver accents sits in his lap. The notebook has a silver pine tree on the center front, with an eye engraved in the metal. He has so aptly named it the 'Eye Journal'.

It's a simple journal where he documents all sorts of powers. Half of the journal is dedicated towards what are essentially 'profiles', drawings of somebody with their eye color and power(s). Plus their name at the top and sometimes little notes about their personality or skill level. Each profile takes up one page, and he's got one for just about everybody in Gravity Falls.

He and his Sister both have a page, right next to each other. It's just a drawing of them and their names, then empty space. The younger twin is entirely aware they both were born with White Eyes, but neither of them have shown any powers as of yet, so he leaves the pages blank.

The other half, is simply lists of powers all separated into different categories, pretty boring stuff.

Point is, he's cleaning up the sketch of Angel, his last boyfriend, correcting any mistakes or unreadable text as well. His brown messenger bag is clasped shut at his side, binder, tshot, Supernatural Journal, various pencils, erasers and a few other not particularly noteworthy things all placed inside.

Plus, he's got his blue and white suitcase at his feet, smaller than his sisters, which is black and pink in front of her.

Speaking of Mabel, she's got her long brown side shave shoved into a beanie, giving the appearance of short hair with bangs and a few loose strands hanging out of the front. She's wearing a hot pink tank top, not a spaghetti strap, with a pair of black ripped up skinny jeans and knee high leather platform boots.

She's got a pastel pink 'She/Her' bracelet on her wrist, made of a stretchy rubber-like material. The text is engraved in it, a kind of chipped blue paint on them so they're readable. The pronoun bracelet is surrounded by beaded bracelets, hair ties and even a couple candy bracelets. She's dozed off by this point, earbuds in with music playing loud enough for Dipper to hear.

Her head is resting on her brother's shoulder, and Waddles is curled up asleep in her lap wearing a sweater colored the same as her tank top. Plus all of that, she has a small black leather backpack beside her suitcase that holds her pronoun jewelry, spare cords and headphones, fidgets, all sorts of shit.

Dipper was put in charge by a half asleep Mabel about two hours ago to wake her up when he saw the Gravity Falls sign, so he's half paying attention to the window as he draws. They've been on this bus ride for what feels like forever, and Dipper is running out of drawings to correct by the time he spots the sign.

A small smile graces the boy's face as he watches it pass, before he quickly snaps his journal shut and shoves it into his flannel, turning to shake his sister awake, "Mabel, we're almost there," he called, shaking her shoulder. He yawned loudly as she blinked her eyes open, looking around.

It took all of five seconds for her to spot the town through the window and squeal, sitting up so fast Waddles almost jumped off. She began practically vibrating in her seat, "We're here, we're here, we're here, we're here!" her voice is high in pitch and her hands are in front of her, pulled into fists and being waved up and down excitedly.

Dipper laughs, "Not yet," he grins, looking out the window.

"Well, we almost are!" she gasps, hopping up (setting Waddles into her seat) and going to the open seats behind them, "You can see the entire town from here!" she bounces on the balls of her feet excitedly, "Look, Dippy!"
