chapter 20

Y/n's pov

Me and jungkook went to the backstage and starting warming ourselves up. After warming up, we decided to practice some difficult steps.

"Let's do it" jungkook offered me his hand and i held it.

After 15 minutes of rehearsing.. There was 5 minutes left for our actual performance.

"Look y/n.. You're doing really well.. Just don't Panick at stage."

"I won't.. Don't worry" i smiled.

"Fighting" Jungkook made a fist and lifted his arm up.

"Fighting" i did the same and gave him an assuring smile.

"Jungkook and y/n..?" A girl came in with a paper in her hands.

"Yes.. We are" jungkook said looking at her.

"Please make your way to the backstage..it's your turn in a few minutes"

Jungkook and i followed her and she took us to the backside of the stage.

"Ok.. Now our next contestants are Jungkook and y/n.. Please come forward" the host announced in her mic.

Jungkook and i took our steps further and walked to the stage. Jungkook held my hand tightly. We both bowed to the audience and the judges. I felt a little nervous. But jungkook was there so i felt relieved.

"Play the music"

......and the music started.

We started our dance and as we started, we coule see the audience/ children cheering for us. That boosted my confidence. Jungkook was really supportive. The way he was lifting me and doing the intimate moves without making me uncomfortable..it was amazing.

Taehyung's pov

I was sitting there to see her dancing. It was problematic to me. The way jungkook was lifting her and the way their faces were so close to each other.. I got really angry seeing all this. How dare she ditch me and choose that guy?

"No way you both can win.. I'll not let this happen".

End of Taehyung's pov.

They both were dancing and the croud was cheering for them. Jiho and shuzo were also there cheering for them.

"Wohooooo y/n, jungkook" jiho shouted.

Finally they finished their performance and clearly everyone loved it including the judges. They bowed and went down the stage.

There was jiho and shuzo standing there waiting for them both.

"Y/n, jungkook...you both did really well I'm proud of you" Jiho hugged both of them.

"Thankyou so much Jiho" y/n said in between the hug.

"Thanks..leave me now" jungkook tried to get released from the hug.

"You both did really well." Shuzo said.

"Thanks shuzo" y/n smiled.

"Who are you by the way?" Jungkook asked.

"He- he is shuzo" y/n panicked.

"Who shuzo?"

"My friend" Jiho was a little scared.

"Friend or---"

"Shut up pig.. He's my friend"

"Okay whatever... I'm exhausted. I want to take some rest.. " jungkook announced.

"Yes let's sit and enjoy the other performances."

Nearly after two hours, all the performances finished. After some time result was to be declared.

"Y/n, jungkook I'm sure you both are going to win.. Bcoz your performance was the best" jiho said.

"Yes of course.. We will win" jungkook was fully confident.

"I hope we win" y/n said.

One of the judge got a call from someone.

"Ok sir... I got this...d-don't worry"

"What happened?"

"Listen to me..."

"Ok the results are prepared and the names are in this envelope... Are you guys excited" the announcer said and was responded by a huge cheer.

"Well.. If you all are excited.. Let's announce the winners then."

"Jungkook I'm very nervous" y/n crossed her fingers.

"Don't worry...We will win."

"Yes..im confident.. You both are going to win." Jiho said.

"The couple who is on the third place is"

"Lee sunmi and lucas martin"

The whole croud started cheering for them. They both came on stage, greeted everyone, took the prize and stood on the centre of the stage.

"The couple who is on the second place is"

"Kang mi rae and Han Sung ho"

They both came on the stage, greeted the judges, took the prize and stood there.

"Ok noww... The couple holding 1st position issss....."

"Y/n just stand up already.. We're the winners" jungkook said while standing up.

Y/n's eyes were closed..lowkey expecting to hear her and jungkook's name on top.

"The winner is-"

"Kim minso and Song kang".

The whole croud started cheering for both of them. They finally got the winner.

Jungkook, jiho and shuzo were in shock.. What just happened?

"This is because of me!" Y/n said as her smile dropped. Sadness took over her.

"It's not because of you.. This is because of the hypocrite judges...they had already decided the winner even before the competition started..screw them" jungkook threw a fit.

"Its ok you both..At least you tried and for us, You both are the winners." Jiho said in order to cheer her up.

"Jiho is right.. You both were the best..cheer up" shuzo supported jiho.

"Yes at least we tried" y/n had actually tears in her eyes.

"Y/n come on..don't be sad. This is just a shitty inter school competition.." jungkook added.

"Y-yes"

Listening to all of them.. There was standing Kim Taehyung.

Smirking ....!!
