Chapter one// Introduction

I sat at my desk with my Chromebook and homework next to me. I had my state test in two days and was stressing about it. My brother, Karl, was telling me to study to be less stressed and more prepared. Don't get me wrong, I love my brother but he doesn't understand. I was stressed about EVERYTHING, not just the state test. I sigh and get up from my chair to stretch. I figured a snack wouldn't hurt. I walked down to the kitchen to see my brother doing a cooking stream. He looks at me and grins widely. "Hi Y/n!" he pronounces loudly. "Hi Karl!" I respond. I can hear talking from his laptop and realize he's on a call with his friends. He motions me over. "This is my sibling chat!" I wave to the camera shyly. I was slightly nervous, this is the first time his stream has ever seen me. I look over to chat and all my worries go away. It was mainly filled with "Hiiii" and "they're so pretty!!". I hear his laptop go off again and look over, it's Tommy. He looks as though he just woke up from a nap. "Who's this?" he says sleepily. "This is my little sibling, Y/n!" Karl says, introducing me. Tommy waves and gets up to grab his phone. I go to the fridge and grab some watermelon. "I'm making cookies if you want any later" Karl says while measuring the flour. "Okay thanks" I say while slightly laughing as he spills some flour on himself. I say bye to chat and walk back upstairs. I look at my Chromebook and walk over to my desk. I close my Chromebook and get changed into an over-sized shirt and some sweats. I walk downstairs and grab my keys. "Where are you going?" Karl asking as he hears me grab the keys. "On a drive" I say while grabbing a water bottle. "be safe, okay?" he says turning his attention to me. "Karl, I'm 17. I can take care of myself" I say laughing as a head out the door.

It was now about 9:00 pm and i've been out for almost an hour. I start to head home and decide to stop at Target real quick. For what? Who knows. I step inside, the cold air hitting me immediately. I grab a basket and make my way to the skin care section. I grab some new face wash and make up wipes, then go to the toy section. I find a few toys for my little cousin, who's turning 8 in a week. I grab some cookies and head to checkout. As I'm checking out Karl calls me. I answer as the cashier starts scanning my items. "Hello?" I say. "Where are you?" Karl asks. "At Target, I'm almost done. I'll bring you cookies in case yours don't taste good." I say giggling. "Hey! Meanie." Karl says. "Sorry! I have to go, see you in 10." I hang up and give the cashier the money and head out.

"I'm home!" I call out. I walk into the kitchen to see Karl cleaning up. "Hey!" he says. I place my stuff on the table and bring the cookies over. "Try one of my cookies!" he says. I pick up a cookie and bite into it, it surprisingly tastes good. "It's terrible." I say. "I'm just kidding, it's actually really good" I say biting the cookie again. Karl looks at me with a sarcastically offended face and i laugh. I head back up to my room and jump on my bed. I open twitter and see that my inbox is full. Oh great, they found my twitter. I say in my head. I notice that someone verified followed me. I look at the username and see that it's Tommy. I follow him back and a minute later I get a dm.
