"Mhm yeah- I'm getting out of the car sorry- the AirPods- can't hear BYE" *hangs up*

Vacation.

She finally arrived. After countless postpones, three planes and a very.. very stressful drive, she finally made it.

Fall in Italy.

She never thought she'd actually get away. Away from her draining job and worries, and away from everyone. Just three weeks to herself and the city.

She stepped out of the car, and met with the shining morning sun. She slipped her sunglasses off as she met with the bellboy, tipped him and headed inside. Filled with anticipation, she walked in through the seamless glass doors of the hotel, and headed down the lobby. She walks down the luxurious wooden floors and analyzes the places interior design. She followed the marble pillars all the way up to the glass ceiling. Where you could see the sky, her eyes fell to to a large window where the morning sun shined through and reflected off of the gold detailing around the crown molding of the ceiling. She noticed a more secluded area where the building with the rooms were visible through the roof. It looked quiet there, she liked that. As she's looking she sees a elegant stair case leading to a restaurant. she spots all greenery around her. It made her feel calm which is the one thing she's been trying to be for a while.

"Hm" she says with a smirk.

She's in love. She turns and heads straight for the Check-in desk.

"Hello! May I get the name on the reservation?" Says the delightful concierge.

"Hera Baudelaire"

The concierge does a double take and is stunned.

"Ms.Baudelaire- it's a pleasure to have you here-" he loudly rings the bell for the doormat of a bell boy to come running. He scurries around, takes the bags, and leaves no trace.

'Oh, how nice.. special treatment.'

She shakes her face of irritation and plasters a smile. The concierge hands her the room key and a hotel pamphlet.

"Please don't hesitate to reach out for anything Ms.Baudelaire, I hope you enjoy your holiday here with us-"

She filters out the rest and then leaves. She heads to elevators and continues to feel her excitement and relief. Life on the other side of the world is cruel...

She enters the large metal doors and sighs. She walks in, presses her floor, and leans her head back on the elevator wall.  She begins to play her music and rests her eyes. Before the doors close, a heavily ringed hand stops them. A little startled, Hera opens her eyes for a quick moment revealing a tall, tattooed, man walk in. Hera didn't pay any mind and closed her eyes again.

He looks over to her and lightly smiles. She lifts her head slightly to see which floor she's passed. She notices her button is still pressed with no other..

'Must have the same floor.'

She waits until she hears the elevator ding. He waits for her to walk out first, and they go opposite ways.

They walk in opposite directions to find their rooms. As Hera walks she hears feet shuffling behind her. She takes a quick look and sees the tall man, again, not getting a good look. She finds her room and goes to grabs her card. The man parks next to her, his room being the one besides hers. She looks around her bag for her key card, finds it, and accidentally drops it. They both bend down to grab it.
