They're is 3 pups remaining, Ryder not included, bringing the total remaining contestants to 4 : Rubble, Rocky and Skye are down, but Zuma, Marshall, Ryder and Chase still have a chance at Total Victory. Competitors with the slowest time are gonna be running first, that means Marshall is First.

Stage 2 is really not a problem for Marshall, as it's all about strength. The only grueling obstacle would be the Balance Tank, cause he has to be careful on it, or he will fall off.

He's up first because he had the slowest time on Stage 1, barely finishing with 0,06 seconds left.

3,2,1 GO !

Angelic Fly is not a problem at all for Marshall. Before attempting the Double Salmon Ladder, he says

Marshall : I can make it.

And he's on it. He gets the first row, skip the second row, gets the fourth row, then the fifth and finally the sixth. He then turns around to make the transfer and after swinging a bit, he does it. He hangs on the first ledge of the Unstable Bridge, which directly follows the Salmon Ladder without any break. The Dalmatian will do in about 30 seconds. He now has 40 seconds left and he's down to the obstacle that he fears the most : The Balance Tank. He closes his eyes and says *See you next year, Ninja Warrior ! * And he goes for it, but fells Backwards and splashes into the water.

FAIL !

Music playing :

Marshall's funny run, comes to an end, and he's gonna have to comeback next year. On the Balance Tank, he went for it, but immediately fell off.

Up next is Zuma, the swimming rescue pup of the team. A Chocolate Labrador who likes water. Before his run, he revealed he was tempted to jump in the water and sacrify is change at moving on, but he won't.

3,2,1 GO !

He was a lot less convincing on the Angelic Fly and nearly fell off at the midway transition to the second bar. He cleared it in about 20 seconds and 1min25s to spare. On the Double Salmon Ladder, Zuma started strong, skipping 2 rows, clearing the fourth... But missing the fifth and immediately fell into the Water. But you can see that's all he wanted and he wasn't really focused on the course. He's out.

Music playing :

Next we've got Ryder, himself, the 10 years old boy who owns the Paw Patrol, he doesn't need any presentations. He had the second best time on Stage One, behind Chase.

He destroyed the Angelic Fly and was wonderful on the Double Salmon Ladder, clearing in 3 movements. He went on a slower pace on the Unstable Bridge, but was still fast. And then litterally had nearly a minute left to attempt 3 short obstacles. First the Balance Tank, which he almost fell off from at the beggining, but recovered, and cleared, being the first one to do that. He was now down to the Metal Spin, which he immediately attempts, and.........

Disaster.

He slipps off.

*Crowd Reaction*

Chase : HAAAAAAAAAA ! NO ! RYDER ! WHAT HAPPENED

Marshall : WHAT ?

Rubble : Hein ?

Skye : OUCH... HAA HE'S OUT ?

Zuma : NO ?

Ryder was out. The competitor that had a whole town behind him was out. He'd tried to prove he can win, but he didn't.

He didn't cry, but looked devastated. Though, everyone was.

In the Interview, he said that he doesn't know what happened.

So this was it : It was all down to one competitor to win it all, Chase, and by far, the best. All people expected him to do is rock it.

3,2,1, GO !

If Chase fails, the tournament is over, but if he clears, he's the only one moving to Stage 3. Chase knows it, and he doesn't want to make it true. He scatters the Angelic Fly, then on the Double Salmon Ladder, the German Shepherd does something incredible. He skips 3 rows on one shot, making it from the first to immediately the fourth row, and then immediately to the last. But it's on the transition to the other Ladder that he lost time, swinging for about 15 seconds : He was down to about 1min and 5s. He then crushed the Unstable Bridge, making it seem easy. He still had 40 seconds. He was scared about the Balance Tank but cleared it. Then on the Metal Spin, he started to take to much time to rest a little bit. He realized it and put his paw on his forehead because of the stress he was getting through. 15 seconds. He was slower than Ryder, so to win the tournament, he had to clear the Metal Spin. That's what he did, barely making it on the plateform. He'd won the tournament, but time was running out. 10 seconds (he approaches the first) 9, 8, 7, (he gets under the first wall) 6, 5, 4 (he gets under the second wall) 3, 2, (he gets under the final wall) 1, (he's threw it) ..( he jumps on the button, almost hurting himself, and litterally goes off the course after touching the button). And.. We had yet an other close call, except this time this time it was so close, that it needed video review to determine if he'd done it.

The result was so announced.

Matt Iseman : Alright, Chase, we went into video reviewing to determine if you move on, and... congratz, you're moving on to Stage 3 with 0,03 seconds to spare !

Chase was smiling but that was way too close for him, as he spent some energy, and litteraly wanted to collapse at this moment, but instead sit down.

I think they knew it, because they gave him a 40 minute break before attempting the Third Stage.
