"Bye Naruto, thanks for the advice and all the help you gave me" I smiled and waved him off

"Of course! What are friends for Neji" Shikamaru opened the door and dragged Neji out with him, carrying both the food and Neji's coat on his opposite arm.

I'm happy Neji finally told Shika, Now they'll be the second family after ours. I watched them disappear into the night, I closed the door and went to eat my dinner.

After eating dinner, I cleaned and then made sure all the doors and windows were locked, I then went to get Kawaki, so I don't sleep in my room alone.

After making it to my room with my baby, we got into bed, and we didn't even remotely try to get under the blanket, we just cuddled until I went to sleep.

-2 months later-

Naruto's P.O.V

I'm inside Neji and Shikamaru's kitchen cooking them a nice meal for dinner while they sat at the table talking. They asked me to come and decorate their baby's room. I spent the past month decorating the room and finding all types of gender-neutral items since they want the baby's gender to be a surprise until it's born. Even if Neji still thinks it's a girl.

Neji is in his ninth month of pregnancy, so he is due any day now. I set the drinks down on the table and leave to gather the finished food. As I grab one plate of food, I hurriedly place the plate back down and look over when I hear something fall.

I looked over to see Neji leaning over the table and what fell was his glass of water. The water flowed to the other end of the table as it spread. Shikamaru was next to Neji the moment he dropped the water. I set the tray down and ran to their side

"What happened" I placed a hand on Neji's thigh

"I-I don't know, I was hit with something really painful in my lower abdomen." I look up at Shika, and he looked at me, then nodded and after about 10 minutes Shika spoke

"Neji, baby it was probably a contraction your body is getting ready to give birth any day now so when you fee-" Shika was cut off when Neji groaned and held his stomach.

"Alright Neji on a scale of one to ten how badly did that one hurt"

"6" he whined out

"Alright Neji, let's get you to the couch, maybe you'll feel better sitting there" when Shika helps Neji stand, a gush of water rolls down Neji's leg, His legs buckle under him as he falls with a scream.

"Neji!" Shika says as he catches him before he hits the ground

"Shika, it hurts!" Neji cries and I look at Shika

"I'll go get Kawaki and the bag" Shikamaru nods and picks Neji up and holds him close

"It's going to be ok baby, we'll get you to Lady Tsunade" I don't hear what was said when I ran upstairs to grab Neji's hospital bag and grab Kawaki from their bed in their room.

When I grab Kawaki and his bag, I speed walked downstairs to find Shika at the door with Neji, both being bundled up due to the chilly weather          

"Come on Naruto, we need to get him to Tsunade his contractions are coming faster than normal"

"I know, I know, but I have to strap him to me before we go" I place Kawaki on the couch and put on his baby wrap, and place him in front of me, he puts his head on my chest and I grab the bag then ran to the door
