Charlotte couldn't believe she was actually now an employee of FFP. The shock was clearly on display. Ashleigh smiled at her newest subordinate and looked towards Reese. "If you will excuse us, Boss, we'll leave you to your schedule, and get Charlotte set up in the office.
Reese smiled, "Of course Ashleigh, let me know if you need anything from me so she's set up right." Ashleigh nodded as she continued, this time directed to Charlotte, "My apologies for that test, Miss Zimmerman, I wanted to ensure that I wasn't going to hire someone who would reduce their self value to gain something."
Charlotte blushed, remembering. She looked down, unable to look Reese in the eyes, "I understand, thank you for this opportunity." Charlotte quickly gave Reese a small bow. Ashleigh nodded her head towards him as well. Reese chuckled, nodding his head in acknowledgment of the two. "Go on, get out of here and get her prepped. We have a lot of material coming up with the next comeback season. I need her ready."
"Of course, RM, I'll have her ready by the end of the day." Ashleigh quickly took Charlotte by the hand and led her out of the office.
Once the door closed behind them, Ashleigh dropped Charlotte's hand and led her away from the doorway she started giggling. As they walked farther and farther away Ashleigh's giggles turned to fits of laughter until Ashleigh could not walk any more, the laugh attacks doubling her over.
Charlotte looked from her new supervisor, to up and down the hallway, unsure of what to do as Ashleigh started to calm down, standing straight, even having to wipe the tears from her eyes.
"Are..." Charlotte started, "Are you... alright?"
Ashleigh look over at Charlotte standing there, a look of concern on her face. Ashleigh smiled, "Of course I am." She smiled, "It's been a long while that I saw RM do that test of his. You better watch out for him and stay away. You'll end up the talk of the office, maybe even in translator land."
Charlotte's face showed how confused she was at Ashleigh's words. "So... Stay away from Mr. Myung. Got it."
"You didn't see the look on his face when he brought you into the office, I saw on the CCTV." Ashleigh chuckled, "Anyways..." She paused, "Let's get all the stuff you'll want for your desk."
Charlotte was led back into the elevator, down to the third floor, past many offices, and into to a small storage room, shelved with every kind of office supply and stationary items someone could ever want. Charlotte giggled as Ashleigh started filling a box with various notepads, different types of pens, pens of different color inks, sticky notes, and a set of varied colored file folders.
As Charlotte walked around, looking over all the items in the storage room, something caught her eye. Behind a row of boxes of paperclips, Charlotte pulled out a small, worn notepad.
Glancing over to Ashleigh, who was adding a stapler and a box of staples to the nearly filled box of supplies, Charlotte quietly started flipping through the pages quickly, stopping at a random page to read the words that were written down.

When loneliness is the only thing that stays by my side
I've become completely alone. It's a lock that fills sadness
Someone says, "bastard, you've become a celebrity" ¹

Charlotte glanced up, seeing Ashleigh slowly working her way towards her, and hid the small notebook in her pocket. She frantically looked around for something to distract Ashleigh in case she saw her pick up the notepad.
To her left, Charlotte saw a clear drawer organizer. Pulling open the first drawer, she found washi tape. The second drawer held mechanical pencils. The third drawer, as Ashleigh came up on Charlotte, held a single pen. It was rose gold, a liquid fountain pen with a retractable nib.
"Ooo, that's a nice pen." Ashleigh commented as Charlotte took it out of the drawer, "If you're not going to use it, I will." The two smiled at each other, a fondness for stationary items a shared interest.
"I think I'll use it." The two chuckled as they made their way out of the supply room. Charlotte played with her new rose gold pen, clicking it as they walked down the hall, thoughts of the little notebook and the words contained inside consumed her mind as they walked back to the elevator.
They stood in silence until the ding of the elevator arriving pulled Charlotte back.
'Everything alright?' Ashleigh asked as they entered the elevator, pushing the button for the 5th floor.
'Yes, of course.' Charlotte smiled as the doors closed.

Reese Myung watched as his office door closed after Ashleigh and his new translator. He turned and walked over to his desk, throwing himself into his desk chair.
Loosening his tie, he sighed heavily. "That was something."
As he pulled his tie from around his neck, a knock at his office door sounded. Using his gruff voice, Reese commanded the visitor to enter.
A tall, auburn haired man entered, a boxy smile on his face.
"RM, come to lunch with me. I fly out this evening for that competition in Vegas."
"Kam." RM sighed, "I can't today."
"Oh, really? Why is that?" Kameron Tan, famous photographer, sat down on RM's mahogany desk, "Anything to do with the new girl I saw leave this office? I heard your right hand lady laughing as I came in."
Reese unbuttoned his suit jacket, tossing it across his desk chair, "Shut up Kam."
Kam chuckled, "Did you do the thing again? I can tell you're a little off right now."
Reese leaned into Kameron, locking eyes with his best friend's hazel eyes, "Did you see her?" He asked. Not waiting for a response, Reese continued, "She's beautiful. Blonde, innocent blue eyes, the perfect body. Reese stood, turning towards the bookcase behind his desk, he pulled open a drawer, taking out a bottle of makegeolli and two glasses. "She's witty too." He paused, setting the glasses down onto his desk, pulling open the liquor, and pouring the milky drink into the cups. Reese sat the bottle down, "Her body..." Reese smiled, Kam grinned back, "Absolutely perfect. Not boney, but healthy. Everything I could play with."
The men picked up their respective glasses and clinked them together, quickly downing the white liquor. Kam sat his glass down and sighed heavily, his long fingers lingering on the grass, "I hate leaving you like this." Kameron started, "I have to pack and head to the airport. The event starts in two days."
Reese and Kam quickly hugged, "I look forward to hearing about these tattoos you're going to shoot."
Reese turned, putting the bottle away, as Kam chuckled, "Who knows, maybe I'll come back with something of my own."
Reese laughed as he stood,. His tall 6' 3" self stretched out, looming over his childhood friend, dwarfing the other man's 5' 10" height.
"I'll give you a call when I get back, we'll hit up the club." Kam forcefully patted Reese's back before turning and heading towards the door.
"Yeah, I hope you have a good flight." Reese told the back of his best friend.
Kam turned at the door, made a face, and winked before opening the door and disappearing from the office. His footsteps slowly fading down the hallway, leaving Reese Myung, RM, Lyricist, Producer, and Production Executive of Full Frame Productions, alone.
With the thoughts of the new girl running around in his head.
