"Where is he?", I whispered. He had told half an hour ago that he would be here in 10 mins. I hate waiting. It's so awkward.

People keep streaming into this restaurant, it's Friday night after all. This is why I avoid going out on Fridays. Guess what? I'm the only one who is alone here. People are staring at me like "why is she holding on to the best and most romantic table in restaurant when she's alone?". Uhh, such a nightmare.

"Where are you, Lee Hyun?". I'll call him again. I open my phone but it's dead. Wow, this cannot be happening.

I try to calm myself down. I focus on the view outside, the river, the sunset, the birds, the wind, its magnificent. I love this place, I just wish that it was empty. Less people, please. I shift to completely face the window now, I don't want to look at the restaurant staff or the people around me. I can hear loud noises behind me, a huge group of friends probably entered. I don't turn around. I try to zone out. But how long do I have to wait?

After another half an hour, I decide to ask the staff if I can charge my phone somewhere, but they do not have the right charger so that didn't work out. I made my way to the ladies room. I look at myself in the mirror, wow I look good today, I worked really hard on my appearance, I was going seeing my boyfriend after 2 weeks. We had only started going out a month ago, I like him, he is strange but smart, but we didn't know much about each other. To be honest, I hadn't missed him much, but I had craved for some company. I live alone, I eat alone, I do most things alone. I have like 2 or 3 friends but they're not in the city and I'm not the kind to call or text a lot either. I was happy alone, but do you know that feeling when you crave for company and warmth? Anyways, I leave the bathroom, remembering how I had met Hyun and how had he asked me out, I smile. I hope he gets here fast.

"Sol-ah? Kang Sol?", someone calls out from behind me. I turn around and see an old friend/classmate from high school. Kim Taehyung. Wow, he looks so well put. He was good looking back then as well, but it's different now, different in a good way though.

"Ohh, Annyeong Taehyung-ah!", I grin.

"Annyeong, Sol-ah, oreumanine (long time no see)!", he says, grinning back at me. I nod and we catch up a little about our lives. Though I'm very happy to see him, I didn't want to meet him on a day like this, when I am stood up by my date. I wish he had ignored me. Please Taehyung, don't ask who I'm with

"Are you with someone?", Taehyung asks. Damn

"Yes, well at least I'm supposed to be", I say looking down.

"Ohh, okay

"Ohh, okay. I'm here with my friends, Park Jimin is also here, you remember him, right? He was also our classmate?". Aah, Park Jimin, yes of course I remember him. He was such a nice kid. I mean, who even was that nice as a teenager?

I nod and point towards my seat and wave to him, "Seeya", I try to walk away. Taehyung points towards his table and motions me to come join him, noticing I was alone since my table was empty. I say shake my hands politely and turn around.
