Chapter 15 Part 2 "Baby is Here"

We finally reached the hospital. I helped Rachel out of the car and placed her on the wheel chair that they gave to us. The nurses helped Rachel into the hospital. I can't believe this is happening! My best friend is going to have a baby! I'm going to be an aunt!!
"Rachel I'm going to call Jason and tell him that we're in the hospital." "Ok hurry back!" I closed the door behind me and went outside for some air. I dialed his number and waited until he answered.
"Hey jasmine, I'm on my way now."
"Hey Jason and how long until you come here?
"About 10 minutes"
"Uh ok, but please hurry, Rachel is going to give really soon!"
"Ok don't worry! Tell Rachel I'm on my way! Ok bye.
"Bye."
I hung up and went back inside and into Rachel's room to tell her. After I told her she felt much more better and more relaxed. "Ok now I feel less nervous. I know he'll make it in time."
"Yea don't worry. I'm sure he will."
Finally Jason showed up. He saw me and asked where Rachel was and I showed him her door number. once he went inside I had to stay in the waiting room with all her family and some of her friends.
2 hours later
I was sleeping until Jason woke me up. "What happened?" "THE BABY IS HERE!" I got out from my seat and hugged him. I'm so happy for him and Rachel. "Can I see the baby?" "Yeah she with Rachel" I nodded and went into the hallway to get to her room. I opened the door slowly and made my way in. "Oh my gosh she is so beautiful!!" Rachel laughed as she was holding the baby.
"You want to hold her?" I nodded and came close to her and sat down next to her. She places her baby on me gently and I held her so softly. I smiled as I was looking at her cute face. "Hi cutie!! I'm your aunty!" I slowly rocked her as she was drifting to sleep. I smiled at Rachel and carefully placed her back to her.
"Wow I can't believe you're a mom now!" She smiled. "I can't believe it either. It's such a great feeling. I can't wait to grin her home." I smiled as I wanted I ask her something. "Did you give her a name?" "Yes, Sophia" Wow that us such a beautiful name. "Aww that's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!" She smiled as she was looking at Sophia. "Mama loves you so much sweetie." I smiled at them. I looked at the time and saw I had to get back home. I got up and gave Rachel a hug. "Good luck! If you need anything call me! Congratulations! Love you!." "I love you too!" I walked out of her room and got by bag and jacket and zipped up my coat before leaving. I saw Jason and gave him a hug. "Congrats of being a dad! Sophia is so beautiful!! Take care." Thank you jasmine for everything. See you soon!" I smirk and walked out of the hospital.
Wow, this year was crazy. Let's see what senior year brings.
