"What a long day."
I sighed and laid back on to my couch. I had a few classes this morning and then had my shift at a local coffee shop. I was starting to regret my decision of letting my friends come over. I glanced at my phone to see the time. They'd be here soon. Probably any minute. I wonder what they'll want to do. I'm not in the mood to go to a bar. Or study. I really wasn't even in the mood to socialize, but I had already made these plans and I wasn't one to bail last minute. I heard a knock at the door. Before I could answer I heard it swing open.
"He knew we were coming you didn't have to knock damn Deku," Bakugou growled.
"W-well yeah Kacchan but it's still polite.." Midoriya tried to defend.
"He's our friend. He even said 'come in whenever you get here' when we made these plans."
I sat up as the two walked in. Midoriya closed the door behind them, and they both kicked off their shoes.
"Hey. Brought beer." Bakugou grinned, holding up the two six packs. I smiled gently. At least we weren't going out.

It was close to midnight. The night was going on blandly, but it wasn't terrible. I was sipping my second beer and Bakugou was intensely playing some video game, getting angry at it of course. Midoriya had asked for a little help with one of his classes so I was attempting to help. He was mumble something to himself and I had started to zone out. Suddenly he drew me from my thoughts.
"Hey have you seen this book before?"
I looked at what he was holding. It was an incredibly old book. It was tattered and looked beaten to hell. The cover was a deep purple and had gold accents that were in some foreign language even I couldn't recognize.
"No I haven't."
"What the fuck is that garbage?"
We turned our heads to face Bakugou, who had paused his game and was looking at the book as well.
"I haven't really looked through it. I think I accidentally picked it up at the library." Midoriya admitted, scratching the back of his neck.
"Give it here nerd." Bakugou snarled, snatching it out of his hands. He started flipping through it, furrowing his brows. "It looks like a recipe book. Too bad it's in some language. Probably Latin or something older and more dead. Here you look at it half and half."
I rolled my eyes at his demands, but took the book anyways. I started flipping through, but suddenly the book started to glow red. The lights started flickering  then dimmed to a low, ominous glow.
"Uh.. what's going on..?" Midoriya asked nervously. As I tried to respond the book flew out of my hands and on to my coffee table. It started to violently shake and pages started flipping on their own. We all sat frozen in confusion and fear. It stopped on a page that had a strange design spread across the centerfold and it levitated just above the table. We leaned over it and attempted to study the pages. I leaned in a little closer, attempting to try and read the unknown language. I took a sip of my beer. Suddenly Bakugou slapped the back of my head, causing me to spit out my drink on the design.
"GET YOUR FAT HEAD OUT OF THE WAY YOU DAMN IDIOT I CANT SEE!!" He shouted. As I wiped the drool off my chin, the book changed its glow to a dark black. We all focused on it again.
"Nicely done Bakugou you made me spit on the book." I mumbled. The book started shaking again and a bright light shot out of it. My lights flickered off. Everyone attempted to get back, but where I was seated on the couch I had no where to go. Suddenly I saw a figure appear from the book. As it started to take form, my stomach knotted. A girl with (h/c) hair, a perfect body, and large ram horns and black wings appeared. She opened her (e/c) eyes and I was entranced. She was, without a doubt, the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
"Nice to meet you. You must be Shoto."
