prologue

We did it. We finally killed Gunmar and Morgana. They're gone. After months of pain and struggles, I finally felt at peace. Jim and Claire had left, and Toby Aargh and I were left. It was a bittersweet moment but we were glad that everything would be okay now.

My first day back at school since the Battle of the Bands was eventful. People I never spoke to started talking to me. Toby and I were the main topic of conversations here at Arcadia Oaks High. Besides that, everything went back to normal.

Well, everything except the new students. They seemed out of this world. They acted weirdly, socially it seemed like they were struggling. They come from another country named "Cantalopia."

It was Jim's job to look over the new kids, but they gave that role to me since he's gone. So now I'm their helper. I tried getting closer to them because I wanted to help them, but they were pretty hard to socialize with. More so with the sister, but the brother is easier to talk to. Aja and Krel are their names, and I find them very interesting even if they're hard to talk to.

I wonder how the summer will go with these two here.
