Rouge came out of the water replacing her tentacles with 2 legs. She went to the 2 vamphogs, "Hello" said Rouge waiving at the both of them, "I couldn't help that you were talking about a blue hedgehog" said Rouge. Scourge and Mephiles turned to look at Rouge, "Yes? Why do you even care?" asked Mephiles, "I am searching for that little creature for a long time" said Rouge, "And why is that?" asked Mephiles, "Well Sonic is the prince of the sea" said Rouge, "Prince of the sea? How is that possible?" asked Scourge, "Sonic is a Merhog" said Rouge, "And I need him so I can be queen of the sea" said Rouge, "And why should we help you?" asked Mephiles. Rouge did knew it was going to be hard to convince this vamphogs but then something pop in her mind, "How about I give you a special power?" asked Rouge seeming tempting, "I'm listening" said Mephiles, "Sonic has a special power on his necklace, it is very strong, if you help me capture him that necklace is all yours" said Rouge. Mephiles and Scourge looked at each other and grin evilly, "Deal" said both.

Shadow was worried for Sonic, "Okay then are you okay going back to sleep?" asked Shadow, "No can you stay here, I fell kinda sad" said Sonic, Shadow nod and lay next to Sonic, Sonic cuddle up to his chest. Shadow petted Sonic's head so he would sleep comfortable, Shadow felt weird around Sonic, he wanted the night to last forever so he wouldn't have to get away from Sonic. The next morning Sonic woke up alone in the bedroom, Sonic got up and went to the kitchen to get some food but there was nothing, Shadow came in, "If your hungry you should go to the village and get some food" said Shadow. Sonic nod, "If you want to I can go with you" said Shadow, "But doesn't the sun hurt you?" asked Sonic, "Yeah but I can still wear the coat" said Shadow, Sonic gave Shadow a smile and nod. Shadow gave Sonic a some money, They both went to the village, there was a shop near by that sell breakfast, "Sonic I will go get you something, don't go too far" said Shadow as he went to the shop. Sonic in the other hand saw something that caught his eyes a weird shop that sells some kind of weapons. Sonic entered the shop from curiosity, he saw all the weapons like for hunters, deep inside at the very end was a picture on the wall, Sonic went near it his eyes were widen with shock, in the picture was Shadow in the middle and in both sides was one that looked like Shadow and in another one was the green vamphog that tried to kiss him. Sonic started to step back, the shop was a vampire hunter shop, he keep backing up till he bump into someone, "Sorry!" said Sonic as he turned around he saw a white hedgehog, "Are you okay? You seem a little frighten" asked the silver. Sonic didn't answer he just stared at the silver hedgehog who seemed very nice and gave Sonic a tender smile, "I've never seen you before, who are you?" asked the silver hedgehog, "I'm S...Sonic" said Sonic. The silver hedgehog realized the nervousness on the other, "No need to be nervous Sonic, I'm Silver the hedgehog and I am a vampire hunter, and what about you, where are you from?" asked Silver, Sonic gulp and decided not to answer, "I see your very shy" said Silver with a smile, "No need to worry Sonic" said Silver, "Sonic?" called a voice deep and familiar to Sonic, "Sorry Silver I have to leave, bye" said Sonic to Silver as he left, "Okay then see you later Sonic" said Silver. Sonic went to Shadow, "Here I am" said Sonic, "Where were you?" asked Shadow, "Uhh I just accidentally entered another shop" said Sonic, "Okay then here" gives Sonic a bag with food, "Thanks" said Sonic. Sonic started to eat along the way, Shadow had just remember the place were the sails man had told him about the shell. Shadow thought it be a good idea to take Sonic there, "Sonic how about you and I go to Blue tear beach?" asked Shadow, "Blue tear beach? Okay then" said Sonic. They both went to the mysterious beach, Sonic saw the very blue water the sun was steamy and toasting him up, lucky for Shadow he wears a coat that covers him from the sun, "Those it seem familiar to you?" asked Shadow, Sonic was starting to get a feeling, "It's like I have been here before" said Sonic. Sonic was sweating well the sun was so hot, "Shadow would you mind if I go in so I can refresh my self?" asked Sonic, "Sure" said Shadow as he went to some rocks near by so he could take of the coat and relax on the shadows of the rocks. Sonic took his shoes off so he could at least refresh himself from the hot sun, Sonic took a few steps until he touch the water, it felt good but Sonic was getting a tingly feeling he looked down at his feet. Sonic was shocked for what he was seen his feet were turning into a mermaid tail Sonic fall on the sand he was shocked, "SHADOW!" screamed Sonic as Shadow quickly went to Sonic, "Sonic what's.....!?" .Shadow paused as his eyes widen he saw Sonic with a mermaid tail, "Sonic what happened?!" asked Shadow, "Shadow I don't know I just touch the water with my feet and they changed to a tail fin" said Sonic a little frighten, "Sonic........that means your a Merhog" said Shadow, "A Merhog?" asked Sonic, "Yes a Merhog no wonder you never remember the village and the shell was the only thing that unlock some of your memory" said Shadow, Sonic was confused and shock it was new to him and his necklace started to shine under its scarf, "Maybe you should go in the water and take a swim" said Shadow, Sonic nod we went inside for a moment. Sonic was now under water his eyes were sparkling the under water was beautiful, Sonic just started to move his tail fin up and down discovering how to use it. As soon as Sonic hot the hang of it he started to swim faster he was twirling in joy he never felt so happy and good. Sonic didn't wanted to come out of the water, Shadow was up wondering what was taking Sonic so long, after a while Sonic pop his head out of the water and wave a Shadow, "Hey Shadow! This is amazing!" creamed Sonic so Shadow could hear him. Shadow smiled at the Merhog and wave back, Sonic was enjoy the water so much that he didn't notice danger was near by. Sonic was grabbed by a Sharkhog, "AHHHHHHH!" screamed Sonic as the Sharkhog had him caught real tight, "Finally found you prince!" said the Sharkhog, "AHHH let me go! SHADOW HELP!" yelled Sonic. Shadow saw that Sonic was struggling under some creatures arms, Shadow didn't knew what else to do so he threw himself to the water, Sonic keep struggling, "GET OFF ME!! LET ME GO!!" yelled Sonic, "No don't you know how long we have been searching for you" said the sharkhog, "What do you mean? Who are you?!" asked Sonic nervous, "Don't you remember me? I am one of the sharkhogs who work for Rouge the octobat and you are coming with me" said the sharkhog, "NO!" yelled Sonic. Shadow had come to them and punched him on the face making him let go of Sonic, Shadow grabbed Sonic, "Sonic swim now!" yelled Shadow. Sonic started to swim fast and swam to the sand, "Who was that?" asked Shadow he was socking wet, "He...he said that they were looking for me and worked for Rouge" said Sonic, "Who is Rouge?" asked Shadow, "A octobat" said Sonic, "We need to get out now" said Shadow he grabbed Sonic bridal style his feet turned back to feet, Shadow went to the castle quick.
