October 11,my dad's birthday,we went on a trip to Stratford-upon-Avon because my mom and my dad wanted to learn more about 'William Shakespeare'.
On our first day,we rode on a big red bus to show us around! There were lots of people in the bus talking,talking pictures,looking at their map and the bus driver was wearing a shirt with the face of Shakespeare.However,we arrived to our first destination,William Shakespeare's birthplace.His house is old but big.William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and died on his 52nd birthday which is April 23,1616.
Our second destination was Anne Hathaway's cottage which is a twelve-roomed farmhouse where she lived as a child in the village of Shottery, Warwickshire, England, about 1 mile west of Stratford-upon-Avon.If you see the garden you'll be surprised! William Shakespeare was 18 when he married Anne Hathaway,26 on 1582.
