Find what is true

What's the point of learning
If you don't know it's true
If you can't back it up
Only say "Not a clue"

When you don't understand
Why the world is this way
Then you can only trust
Someone else who can say

Now this is a place
When we must follow
To sit back and not lead
But to simply walk hollow

For hollow are those
Who sit back and wait
For others to learn
Understand and create

For when we just stop,
Don't think about life
We simply stand still
Are blind to all strife

We must wait to be led
By those who have learned
For we're not ahead
Of those who're concerned

Now following isn't bad
Majority of us do
We know all we need
To simply follow through

We've learned all we need
To make sense of our work
To give in accordance
Not be like a jerk

We learn to develop
Our God given talent
Take orders from leaders
To whom we so relent

It's the leader that knows
To direct and decide
For the people to follow
To trust and confide

Now we can't know it all
or we're living in sin
There is one we must follow
Christ Jesus is Him

Now we shouldn't just follow
Not learn and pursue
We should learn and trust Him
In all that we do

Don't just take my word
Go research and test it
For only with the truth
Do you truly have the best bit

See there's always something
We don't understand
We can't know it all
Or at least not first-hand

For if in Him we trust
Our lives will be led
To learn and to love
Not just sit here left dead

Though in order to trust
The one who does know
You must learn about Him
And continue to grow

Our growth is essential
For knowledge and truth
Since lies in disguise
Shall corrupt all' the youth

While lies are all present
In the world we perceive
There is truth to be found
Behind those who deceive

For deception is real
We must clearly discern
And find what is hidden
To backup what we've learned

If you can't backup
what you know is right
Then you can't defend
you flee and don't fight.

Learn more about the world
Don't just take it as it seems
Don't believe a fake world
A fantasy of dreams.

That is not to say
That dreams are all bad
They sprout life and joy,
Fun that's to be had

Go take the world
Go learn and grow
Learn how it works
Learn how to know

Find out how to learn
And you'll be better off
For how can you know
If not to learn from the start

A good step to take
Is to just wonder why
Why the world is this way
You won't know till you try

Go out into the world
Go out and test it
Don't just sit back
Acknowledge and accept it.

You'll never find out
If you sit idly by;
So go search for the truth
Stop believing a lie
