2 Months Later

"I'm boutta go Pooh" Meg said leaning down kissing my lips.

"Okay, me and Storm gonna head out in about an hour and we'll link up for lunch be safe" I said kissing her again.

"Okay" She mumbled against my lip. "You be safe too and make sure my baby eat" She said caressing my chin.

"Alright I love you wife" I said kissing her stomach. "And I love you too" I mumbled against her stomach.

"I love you baby, see you later" She whispered in Storm's ear kissing her head.

"I love you too mommy, see you later" Storm said back cuddling closer to me. Meg walked out and I turned over kissing Storm's head.

"You're the best daughter ever" I told her rubbing her back.

"And you're the best dad any girl could ask for, you didn't have to take me in you could've kicked me off of your property" She said holding on tighter.

"I couldn't you needed us and we didn't know but we needed you too" I told her rubbing her back.

"I love you" She said scratching her head.

"I love you more, you ready to go" I asked looking down at her. We all got dressed earlier and got back in bed.

"Yes" She said getting up walking out the room , a couple minutes later she walked back in with her shoes on and her purse. I got up and we headed out going to get food first.

3 Hours Later

"What y'all want for lunch" I asked the girls.

"You eating with us" Nicki asked crimping a clients hair.

"No, I have a lunch date with my husband and kid" I said grabbing my purse. "But I'm paying for y'all lunch so what do y'all want" I asked sitting in a chair by the door.

"Chick-fil-a" They said making me nod. I put a catering in and got up opening the door.

"Y'all food will be here in 30 minutes don't call me unless this building is on fire, I love y'all bye" I said walking out going to my car.

10 minutes later I pulled up Golden Coral seeing Jon's car. I pulled in next to him and he got out oping Storm's door before coming and opening mine. We went in and paid then got a table. After a little conversation we got our food and sat back down.

"So how is the salon" I asked Storm while eating a piece of chicken.

"It's great we got a new shipment coming in tomorrow, literally almost everything is sold out again" She said sipping her water.

"That's good baby" I said excitedly.

"How's the salon" Jon asked eating some macaroni.

"It's good" I said drinking a little bit of water.

"Just good" He asked looking up at me.

"Yes and I'm full" I said pushing my food away.

"Mama that's not enough" Storm said pushing it back to me.

"Baby I'm full" I said pushing it away again.

"Mama please just a little more" She asked making me sigh and grab the plate.

"How's the gym and shelter" I asked looking up at Jon.

"It's good baby, Really busy" He said nodding with a concerned look on his face.

"I'm fine stop looking at me like that" I said eating another piece of meat.

"No you not, you coming home for the rest of the day after this" He said looking over at Storm who was finishing her food.

"But I told the girls I would be back" I said pouting.

"I'll call Nicki, y'all ready to go" he asked making us both nod. "Well let's go" He said getting up , we both got up and followed him out.

"Why can't I go back to work" I asked as he walked me to my car.

"Because I know you're gonna throw that food back up and we need to be there to make sure you okay" He said opening my door.

"I'm not a kid Jonathan" I groaned getting in the car. I started the car and rolled the window down then he closed the door.

"I know that Megan and we not boutta argue about it, you gonna go home or Imma call pops" He said making me huff.

"Whatever move" I said putting my seat belt on.

"Remember how you acting when we get home" He said walking away. He opened Storm's door and closed it before getting in himself. I wasn't trying to be mean, I just don't like being treated like a child. He pulled off and I pulled out behind him following him home.
