A Tour and a Room

You were quiet when Rodimus eventually let go and placed you back down on the platform. The screen had gone blank awhile ago. Only flickering static remained of your friend and his warning message to stay safe. Ears starting to ring the room went deathly silent as you stared waiting for Prowl to come back.

You wanted to scream. Scream louder than you ever had. Louder than in the pod. Too demand Prowl come pick you up and take you home so you could fix this. To do something. Anything. You wanted him to fight. You wanted him to care. But as the static flickered across your face and your eyes scanned the datapad waiting for Prowls face to reappear you felt your heart sink. You slowly fell onto your knees before sinking further laying flat on the cold metal desk as the ringing bounced around your head.

  He wasn't coming back...

Your stomach rolled as you looked at the ceiling with a blank face unsure of what to do now. You knew he cared, that he was obviously working on this with Jazz and that they were relieved you were alive but you had mixed emotions. Feeling the smooth metal against your back holding in your tears you take in short but deep breaths so you remain composed. You couldn't freak out. You couldn't looose control.

  Don't panic. Don't panic. Don't panic...

Closing your eyes keeping your cool you bite your tongue trying to focus. Now what? What could you do? How do you move forward?

Tilting your head you narrowed your optics at the screen. You wanted nothing more than to smash that stupid data pad. You wanted to bang your head against it and scream and cry but your bloody vocal chords aren't working and your pretty sure none of the bots in the room would want to keep you on the ship if they thought you were unstable in any way. Clenching your fists that endless expanse of space, floating all by yourself away from everyone... it was starting to sound good right about now.

Taking another deep breath eyes shut as tightly as possible you press your hands to your eyes feeling your vision fill with white dots. How did it come to this?

Hearing a loud cough you hum. Pulling your hands away from your eyes, you blink quickly to keep the tears from rolling down your face. Breathing in you slowly you push yourself up and look at the two cybertronians in the room.

You'd love to be alone right now.

The giant blue mech coughs again and you cross your arms staring at him. Looking away he puts his hands behind his back and intakes. "... BrainStorm and Perceptor our resident scientists are making you a temporary habsuite. Prowl sent some blue print designs that'll hopefully be to your liking. He has also sent his regards and has ordered you some things on our next planet stop for your comfort." Magnus speaks up.

Pausing you glance at the mech watching as Rodimus glares at him. You snort before you begin to chuckle thinking of how Prowl was always pulling things like that, socially unaware as he was and as frustrating as it could be he could be entertaining as well. Nodding absentmindley at the mech taking in the information but still trying to process eveything else you slowly push yourself to your feet.

Your legs were shaky and you could feel how tired you were. Your hair was matted and your suit told you you were on minimal energy and needed to rest soon. Sighing staring at your hands you clench them watching them become fists. Of course Prowl was dumping you on someone else. It's what he did. Shifted his problems around until there were no more problems. You shake your head and shift your feet to stay upright, you couldn't be thinking that way. You couldn't.

A care package and a shoddy goodbye wasn't something Prowl would give to someone he disliked. He was controlling sure but he was looking out for your best interests. Jazz too. You'd give them both a hug and an earful when you saw them again. But for right now you needed to be strong. For yourself and for those that couldn't be. For those that were lost and needed justice.
