'thank gods...' nico thanking the gods silently while sighing for making him have a dreamless sleep.
After the second giant war my demigod nightmare is getting worse and worse,like every time i have a nightmare i almost always scream, ALMOST,after the second titan war i learn how to not scream when i had nightmare but this time my nightmare is worse and only a few can calm me down and making me sleep again like will,hazel,jason,reyna and possibly annabeth,she had became like a big sister to me,after i confessed my whole crush on percy fiasco, alright off topic(ADHD i blame you on this)
While i was ranting to myself there suddenly a knock from a familiar voice from yesterday night.Alfred
"Master nico,can i come in" Alfred ask,well he remember if it's will,jason or percy they will just storm right in "of course Alfred,come in" nico said while sliding his feet to the ground,changing his sleeping posture to a sitting posture, Alfred ask him to join breakfast with the family,which i have to join cuz,i don't want them to supicious and making them stalking me
in the dinning table bruce and all the boys already started eating,i sit next to dick and tim and eat the sandwich that Alfred had placed in front of me
Some time when i still eating bruce talk "nico,batman said that you seems to just got to gotham and do not have a place to stay and possibly a legal gurdian" he said calmly,well that explain the stare i feel have been following me since i arive "oh,yeah i just got to gotham just the night before the accident and about my parent or family... They're dead..." I sigh remembering my mother's and bianca death "my parent die in a fire when i was a little kid,while i have an older sister but soon she died too,she got hit by a car" i kinda suprised to see the boys to not have a face of pity but rather... Simpathy,i think most of them going through that to and now that i don't want pity "oh,im sorry for asking but im sure they would be proud that you manage to lived on" bruce said i kinda shock of his statement to be honest,oh.. yeah the wayne's i remember now,bruce has lost his parent i guess he always want sameone to say that to him instead of "im sorry for your lost" because no matter how much people said it,that will not bring them back or pull him out of his misery "thank you..." I said with a little smile,this time is a real smile i never give to a stranger he barely now,i.. felt connected to them... Somehow,my heart felt... warm like i just had a family i had never been able to have after my mother died.
"nico,i have a proposal for you" bruce suddenly said "what is it..?" "I now we just meet and we're all barely now each other but i know you deserve a family and home to have,so i want to adopt you,i want you to join this family but.. i will not push you,you have the choice,so do you want to join this family" bruce said CALMLY,to say im shock is an understatment not just because we just meet the other night and now he wanted to adopt me but also about how he said that SO F*CKIMG CALMLY,LIKE YOU SEEMS LIKE YOU ALREADY USED TO ASK SOME RANDOM CHILD THIS BUT,COME ON?!.
'alright calm down nico,he said that he give you the choice...' i thought to myself ignoring that my face probably look weird,but while i was thinking about this there's a familiar voice come in my head
'why don't you accept it?' my dad,hades ask
'what do you mean dad?' i ask my father
'aren't i said that i want you to be an exception from all of my children,i want you to have somewhat a normal life,with this man offer you could have a family that you can count on to,we the gods only can do so much with our godly things and all,so you need a mortal family to atleast now there's some people you could go to all the time' he explain with a calm and resuring voice,i was taken back by my father words,after the titan war me and my father had make a close bond,heck even one of the most close bond of godly parent-demigod child in camp
'...alright i will accept the offer,btw thanks dad..'
'sure,son and also about revealing your parentage problem just do it when the time is right to you just make them swear on the river Styx to not revealing the gods until the knowledge already become norm,i belive in you son,good luck' and with that my dad is gone from my mind
"-co" i hear someone call "nico!" "huh? Yes" "nico are you alright you kinda spaced out earlier?" Dick said concern filled his word "yeah,sorry im fine only my ADHD acting up" "ok..,um nico about the offer i give you?" This time bruce is the one saying it "yeah..,about that i accept it,i want to join your family" i said with a smile,is this the time i will get the family i never experience?
