Time pov
It's already one week of us being shift to Bangkok but I still I have no luck with my job.........all the emails I send not even one get a response and why would it, they need qualify people with high degrees whereas I am just a person with my words.......but is this a bad thing, if they give a chance, I am sure I will prove what I am capable of..........But let's just say I am not lucky enough............this job thing it's giving me a headache no matter how much I try I have no success.........it seems like everyone in this city is looking for job wherever I go either it's already over staffed or job is for some one capable.....
Today it's my twentieth place I came looking for job, this is some model agency named "DREAM FUTURE entertainment" looking for something called errand boy ........... looking at my situation and expenses I can do any job to earn some money............the office is on the eighth floor and because of some maintenance issues of elevator, I have to climb the stairs to that eight floor to which I am not sure what type of response will wait for me.........but guess I don't have the luxury of wasting that one in a million chance.........
After dragging myself to this eighth floor here I am standing in front of the office door and just as I open it, it was a world of it's own.......... everyone was running here and there while one person seems like their senior was scolding them for something or whatever, I am not here for this..........I make my way to reception where a girl in her twenties is busy taking calls.........I tell her about my interview for their job vacancy and was expecting to be guided to some office or at least to waiting room but "please wait for a while, sir is busy" was all I get..........and just when I was about to ask her about the waiting area the telephone ring and she again is busy...........I guess I have to find my own way.........
The office was in alot of chaos, it seem like some important client cancel at the last moment because of some mistake in contract and now is not willing to resigned it again even when everything is being done according to his demands...........and because of a small printing mistake this company is going to lose a great deal of money.............well I should say it a little scary as well as funny to Know a small mistake can cause you a great deal of money lose............. I should sympathize them as you never know how much the other person have gone though or how much hard work it have take to where he is right now..........
After my 20 min of waiting a person in his late thirties, must say quite handsome, come out of the office of CEO and everything become a death silence............ and I am sure he is the owner of this company DREAM FUTURE entertainment...........he face the group of people who were early getting scolded by their someone look like their senior............"Yin I want you to send one of your trusted man to Leon house and get the contract signed or else you and your team are finished for good" and with that he go back to his room and the whole corridor is silence not even the sound of breathing............I don't know what got into me I just went to the CEO room knock once and without waiting for answer make my way to the inside............he gave me murderous look but before he can say anything or kick me out I tell him my reason of being there
" Hello sir my name is Time and I am here for the interview about the job of errand boy"...........he look at me for a few seconds full of irritations and then " you get the job, now go to Yin he will guide you farther"................
What just happen right now, did I get the job like this, no questions no answer just my name and he hired me...........is this a prank, am I being fooled, I am standing there trying to figure what just happen but was brought back to by this person in front of me " get out or you are fired" and with that I just practically run out as this job is blessing I don't want to waste.........
I make my way to the group of earlier people who now have settle to a chairs now but the person name Yin is still walking here and there thinking...........
I walk over to them, wai them, which they wai back too......I wait for them to ask me something so I can explain my reason as well but no one bother and thus I try initiating the conversation.....
"P'Yin my name is Time, I just get hired a few minutes before by your boss and he sent me to you for further guidance".........he look at me like I am joking, well it seem like a joke to me as well but no complain I am happier just a little bit shock of this whole situation........... without saying anything he go in boss office and came out after a few minutes.........wow I already start calling him boss.........
"Welcome to the team Time.........you can introduce yourself later right now you have carry your first assignment..........and remember this assignment is going to decide whether you actually got this job or not..."
Is it some kind of prank going on because I can't comprehend all this...... one gave me a job just by knowing my name with other gave me my first assignment without even asking me anything and I am sure he wouldn't have ask my name if I haven't tell him already...........little bit somewhere I am happy because it's not like I have anything to show or tell them about........it's good to just prove them what I can do with my work.......so I am fully ready for my first assignment.......
