chapter 6

Jay's P.O.V.

Jungwon's been transferred to their house a week ago and he's still unconsious. I'm starting to worry because Sunoo said that his trauma arise when he once got to hospital 7 years ago. That's also the reason why he tried to kill himself.

Author's P.O.V.

7 years ago

"Come here you little shit" Jungwon's mother said while glaring at him.

Jungwon visibly gulped and followed his mom towards a room.

That room is where Jungwon's mother beat him everytime he break a rule. And Jungwon did break the rule no. 2.

Rule no. 2
Don't be a pity in front of the others.

And this is also the reason why Jungwon didn't told his mother about the bullying incidents happening in school.

As Jungwon entered the room, he met a handful slap from his mother. His mother pushed him inside and closed the door. His mother personalized the room to be soundproof so that no one could hear the screaming Jungwon would make when his mother hit him.

His mother grabbed a tube, and slapped Jungwon's butt. Jungwon screamed in pain and quickly placed with sobs. His mother punched his stomach. His mother almost forgot his son is only 10 years old but yet she's beating him up like he's already in his 20s.

You must be wondering why Jungwon's mother is beating him up? Well his father left them with a reason that's still unknown for Jungwon at the time. And after his father left, his mother became crazy, she starts beating him and telling him hurtful words without telling Jungwon the real reason.

After his mother beat the shit out of him, she finally left the room with the door hanging open. Jungwon tightened him grip on his fist as tears keep falling down to his checks. He slowly got up to prevent the pain but failed as he felt his butt is painful. He let the pain fulfill him as he entered his room and he quickly sleep without washing up.

Jay's P.O.V.

7 years later

Jungwon's awake for 2 days now but he's still spacing out and it's worrying me so much. I would ask him but he'll just avoid my stare so I just let him think about something.

As usual, I go to kitchen to cook food and bring it to Jungwon because my cooked food is his favorite.

As I entered the room, I saw Jungwon holding a blade and stared at it dangerously. I quickly ran to him and snatched the blade before he could do something he used to do before. Slicing his wrist.

"Hyung, give me that" He yelled at me while crying. I throw the blade and hugged him tightly. He tried to escape from my embrace but thank god I'm stronger than him.

Later on, Jungwon calmed down and and hiccups will be heared. I quickly faced him to me just to see his swollen and dark eyes. I feel like I'm crying because of what I saw but I know to myself I have to be strong for him.

"Jungwon?" I asked.

He looked at me and now he's at the verge of crying. I slowly wiped his tears as I hugged him again. I kissed his forehead and told him to sleep. He nodded and prepared himself to sleep.

As I'm watching Jungwon 'til he sleep, his father entered the room.

"Jay, can we talk for a second?" He asked in a very serious tone and it's scary.

Sorry for not updating for a whole week or so. I'm just busy with school but dw I'll update more now.
