The last Mars standing

The flames

The night, hours before accident, 4 year old rue was down in his dad's study reading with his cat Ms.Fancy as he read this book called "the last king standing!" It was his favorite book out all Daisy McLean book's.

He laughed and played not realizing this was the last night he see his five sisters "Rue its time for bed lets get you ready." The oldest daughter of Zekkei Mars, her name was Jessica Mars.

It wasn't long after all his sisters kiss him goodnight, Ms.Fancy never left rue side as he slept but she was startled by a scream but not like the other screams she use too hearing when the girls spoke with their friends, no it was a blood curdling scream that echoed through the Mars estate.

It startled rue awake and through the crack of his door he saw a figure of a man but he couldn't make who out the guy was, he was too scared to move a muscle in his body and to only look at that door, he sat there with Ms.Fancy on his bed completely broken and scared.

There was footsteps outside of rue's door but it never came in his room then he pass out, only within few minutes later rue woke up to a smell of smoke as Ms.Fancy was trying to get him out the window and so he took the hint and had jump out the window and grab a tree brach, then he let only leaving him with a sprang ankle as he felled to the ground and Ms.Fancy tried to calm the boy down.

The boy turned his head to the forest to see someone standing there before he saw his parents run up to him, crying and realizing that he was the only one out the house they had loss their daughters.

In the time his parents called for help, Ms.Fancy disappear from rue's eye of sight and it made the little boy worried but not long after that Ms.Fancy came back with a key but not just any key, a key to his family estate, it was every key to doors in the house but only his sisters and parents had keys like those so it doesn't make sense how the man he saw in the woods had them.

The family has now broken, rue had no siblings to play with and watch him as his parents worked, the father upset he couldn't save them, and the mother wished she can see her babies one more time, the family was torn apart with the departure of the girls Jessica, Jade, Mina, may, and sky, they were the nicest and overprotective of their baby brother who was now on the other side.

The flames ingulf rue with sadness and tears in his eyes, as days go by the day of the funeral had came and the maids looked for rue as they had to get him ready, but to no avail they had no luck with finding the boy, his father yelled at the maids to look harder for him "goddamnit, he is hasn't gone that far, now go find my son!" It was normal to hear his father yell after his sister's death his mother and father argued more than before "the accident..." right it never happened before this.

After the maids found him and gotten him dressed, the boy was standing next to has parents knowing that it wasn't what they wanted, none of them got to say goodbye in the way they wanted, after the funeral they went to the new house they were going to move in before the accident.

Rue's father became an workaholic while his mother became a stay at home mom for him and as to help him cope with his sister's death "my dear, its okay to cry mommy is for you and so is your father even though your father is a workaholic now" his mother laughs while she cooed and rocked him until rue fell asleep on his mother's chest as she softly singed him a song.

Rue's mother was the queen of Lillian and killua kingdom but she never married a king from a different kingdom instead she married a man from a non-royal family, she never felt like that was a problem unlike her family who disgusted with her choice, through it was fine because they thought money but his father loved his mother with all his heart and never care about money or anything else, just need to love her and take care of her, now the family sobs over the loss of their children and siblings, they miss them.

The contact the police to see if they find out how it started but the cops said it was no accident that it happened and other policemen said it was but a random fire doesn't just have overnight, it was done on purpose whoever did this did it on purpose and tried to kill the whole family.

I hope you like this story though it might not make sense sometimes as my mind goes blank or crazy.
