Chapter 21

I turned to make sure my family was following me and turned back to see Evan standing there.

He said, "Elli nice to have you back."

I let out a menacing growl and stood protectively before Micheal and Marcy.

He said, "No we want to help you Elli. We never wanted to go with that bitches plan in the first place."

I still growled at him and the other that were surrounding me.

I heard bones cracking behind me and felt the sparks Micheal sent through me when he touched my arm.

He said, "Back off or she's going to keep growling at you."

They scattered about a little bit giving me a couple escape routes which made me relax a little but not enough.

I was still on edge. Svetlana could be around any corner and one of these people could be contacting her right now.

I stood in front of Marcy since she was the weakest compared to me and Micheal but in reality she could take any of them down as easily as we can.

I told Michael through mind link, 'Watch my back.'

I turned around and shifted while closing my trench coat.

I went on the other side of Marcy and said, 'Shift.'

I heard the familiar cracking of bones and her holding her coat closed.

I turned back to Evan to see him staring at Marcy in awe. I stepped in front of her and said, "Evan you are probably the most loyal why would you go against orders you know they could kill you."

"You see Elli they could only kill me if they had access to my detonator." he pulled something out of his pocket.

His detonator.

I smiled at him and said, "Okay your safe. Wait how did you notice us?"

He smirked at me and said, "Yeah like its that hard to notice a five foot wolf walking through the training room."

I smacked myself on the forehead and said, "I forgot how big I am."

I heard Micheal say, "Yeah and its not fair." under his breath.

I turned to him and said, "Baby you know you like it."

He just huffed and kept watch on the other assassins.

I said, "Okay Evan I trust you but I dont know about the others. I mean I know you guys but I dont know you well enough so if I kill you its because I dont trust you in the end."

They nodded and rivena and vivena came up and hugged me. I tensed at first but then real axed once I didn't feel any weapons on them.

they chorused, "We missed you."

I nodded at them and said, "Okay guys I need at least three of you to ring out where my friends are and another group to find out where Svetlana is."

Evan spoke up, "Svetlana is in the conference room and your friends are in the jail torture room."

I looked at him impressed and said, "Thank you my man. I will remember not to kill you in the end."

I started walking away but a hand stopped me. I turned around and Evan said, "Wait Elli I and a couple others well all of us want to go with you. Ever since you left it hasn't been the same. Svetlana has killed six of our own because she wanted to. She treats us like the crap under her fingernails."

I looked at him and thought about how much more we are going to have to build in the pack house.

I nodded at him and said, "Okay Evan get your stuff together and everyone else once I kill Svetlana we are out if you are too slow you ate being left."

They all nodded and scurried off to their rooms.

I shifted again and Micheal and Marcy followed. Micheal rubbed against me and I was soothed by the sparks. I nodded at him and we walked ran out of the training room.

I sfastly led us through the corridors and killed any guards and just continued on.

I dont know how it happened or what happened but I heard svetlanas voice in my mind.

She said, "You're too late."
