Also a little warning that I just realized lol
-this story has an indecisive use of present tense and past tense.

Ik this wasn't important but I used to be uncomfortable when someone makes a past tense story and makes it a present tense story with no explanation.

I never thought I would become one of those peeps who would mix past and present but here we are XD

On to the story,

Y/n pov

I woke up feeling woozy as I struggle to sit up.

"I'm hungry" I said when I rubbed my eyes and wobbly stood up to open the door in front of me.

Then I realized that I wasn't in my house and my eyes widen.
"Oh shi-"

As I was about to close the door, I noticed that no one was there and that the sky had a darker red than when I first arrived.

"Huh... They must've left"
I took the moment to walk around to observe my environment.

I was still in the same room.
'This must be a meeting room of some sorts.'

I walked around to the window but stopped halfway when I stepped on a pool of blood on the floor.

I just took a sad breath
"Poor kid.."
He might've been a shitty one bit he didn't deserve this.

I started walking towards the window again to see
"... A city? Full of these creatures? This is so terrifying"

The sky was indeed a darker red now. "Where the heck even am I? Am I in hell?"

When I said that, I remembered how those red creatures had pointy tails and horns along with sharp teeth.

.
oh my god... I think I really am in hell.."

I pressed my hand against the window... When suddenly,
"AAH!!" I screamed when a flying demon bonked his head on the window.

His eyes focused on me.
"A Human!" He said In a creepy voice

I instantly opened the window and punched him in the face, causing him to fall so I closed the window again.

I try to stay calm about this whole situation I got myself into.
My heart was thumping so hard.

.

"Uh.. cleaning. Cleaning always calms me down.." I looked around for something to clean then my eyes went to the floor.

The blood I stepped on earlier. I brought bloody shoe prints to the window.

"I guess I should clean this up."

I removed my shoes to avoid any more blood to spread and went towards the staff room and found a mop and something to help it dry but I need water.

There's no bathroom in this room so I had to go outside to find a bathroom.

"It's okay. I'm fine. They're not here"

I went outside and walked through my right side of the hallway and lucky enough, I found it

Time skip

I finished the cleaning and explored the floor of the building a little before going back to the staffroom.

I found this employee of the month thing with pictures on it with their names.
