"Uh hi" George cleared his throat as he awkwardly shifted from Dream. Instantly George felt the loss of warmth, Dreams warmth. George wanted more of the heat that radiated from Dream but he wasn't just going ask for it, that's weird.

Dream avoided Sapnap's gaze and grabbed his tea. He took a sip of the camomile infused tea and stared at the floor, his thoughts started to flood him.

Whatever that 'moment' was it felt oddly nice. It was weird but Dream needed that hug more than he thought he needed. It was nice.

Dream frowned at himself. It was just a hug. Nothing else. It was impulsive and stupid. Why was He making it bigger than it was.

George probably wasn't thinking about this right now so why was Dream. He didn't mean to, it was just for comfort. It happened but it's never going to happen again.

"Hello" Sapnap voiced. That immediately caught Dreams attention. Dream looked up and as he did, he noticed Both Sapnap and George staring at him. "Did you hear what I said?" Sapnap asked. Dream swallowed hard. "No"

"What are you guys doing up so late?"

Dream slightly smiled, but not enough that anyone can notice, he remembered George and him arguing about spicy food and then George spilling water everywhere but his smile faded as he remembered that it was all because of his flashback.

"I couldn't go to sleep so I made some tea for me but I by accident woke him up and he wanted some so I made him some and we were just talking" George lied. Dreams shot his head at George surprised. George didn't tell him.

"Yeah" Dream agreed. Sapnap nodded slowly, stopping himself from asking furthermore. "Is there any left?" Sapnap looked behind Dream. "The water is probably a little cold but yeah there is" George handed him the box of camomile.

Sapnap took the box and looked for a mug. He found one and it had a design on it. It was a cat that had patches all over its body. Some were black, some were white but most of it was brown. It was sitting on a counter with a hoodie wrapped around its small body. Dream slightly smiled at it.

Sapnap grabbed the slightly cooled off water on the mug and waited for it to turn brown. "I heard laughing" Sapnap said but it came as a whisper because of how close his mouth was to the mug.

"Oh it was nothing" George lied once again. Dream nodded, agreeing with George once again. The room when into a uncomfortable silence.

Dream couldn't get his mind off George. The hug and the lie. It was just a hug but it felt like it was something more but it wasn't, it was a hug and nothing more. Am I that touch deprived that I'm overthinking about a fucking hug?

Whilst Dream was so stuck up with his thoughts George was fighting for his life. Sapnap kept giving him the 'know it all' look and George kept shooting him deadly glares at him and whispering Sapnap to stop.

Something caught the three boys attention. Niki walking in. Her eyes had heavy bags under them and she looked like she was about to pass out.

"Is everything okay?" Niki looked straight at Dream, completely ignoring George. "Dream, does the lab have a venting system?" she asked. Dreams eyebrows pinched together. "Yes, why?"

"I want to get them out from there" Niki explained. Dream placed his cup on the counter. "You want to get them out by the venting system, that's impossible, there cameras everywhere an-"

Niki shook her head, stopping Dream from speaking anymore. "Don't worry about that, I'll sort it out". With that Dream nodded and held his hot cup of tea on his hands. It made his hands warm.
