"Dammit Carter looks real fine today" Brody thought while biting his lip. "If we weren't in school rn I would tap his ass for sure". There's just something about Carter that makes Brody so drawn to him. I mean they did both have the "Saturday is for the boys" flag hanging up in their room, although they only got it because all their other friends had it. Brodys a bit more out that Carter but everyone still thinks he straight, he even goes as far as the fake crushes on girls to cover up his sexuality. Carter did the same, they both were gay but just decided to cover it up because they both live in a small Christian homophobic town. "Hey Brody" Carter said from across the halls "oh hey Carter" Brody responded back. "My mom said it was okay for you to come over this Saturday if you want to" Carter said to Brody with a small wink. "Yea that sounds cool I'll be there" Brody responded back not noticing the wink. It was Friday after all.
The day went by and Brody could not stop thinking about going to Carter's house this weekend. Of course Brody had been many times before but this time he felt nervous and anxious about going but he was also very excited. He kept asking questions to himself like "Is it just going to be me and Carter?" And "What are we gonna do when I get over there?". "Brody" he heard someone call his name. He looked up and saw his teacher looking at him with a blank face. "Are you paying attention?" The teacher said to him after she noticed he was daydreaming. "Yes mam" Brody responded back to her and heard giggles from his classmates laughing at him and the teacher continuing her lecture.
Finally the day was over and Brody got to get on the bus to head home. He was still thinking about Carter while he was looking out the bus window. Everyone at school had noticed his strange behavior but brushed it of as Brody just being his weird self.
