"there's a female role opened for a drama series called "Midnight Tokyo Love"! it's originated from a novel with the same title but i think you'll be fit for this!" a male voice echos in the small, yet huge living room. the female chuckles and shook her head in disbelief, crossing her arms then began staring at the laptop screen.

"so you're telling me that i would fit the role of a female lead who falls in love at first sight during a campus tour?" she replies, continuing to stare at the screen.

"chungha, this could be your first ever japanese debut! think about it, your fans are dying for you to make a comeback in the acting world right now. especially your overseas fans!" her manager, kim, explained with a bit of persuading. 

the female stays quiet for a few minutes, giving herself a minute to think about the role offering. "should i do it?" she thinks to herself, "what if i don't meet the expectations for the directors, fans, everyone?!" she sighed to herself quietly. "i'll take the role." the female responded after 5 minutes later.

her manager froze and stared at her, "you'll actually do it? did i hear that correctly? you'll do it?!" manager kim yelled through the screen with a huge smile on his face as he stared at the screen as well.

the female nodded, "yes, i'll take the role and do it. besides, just like you said, it'll be my first japanese debut and fans are waiting for me to have a acting comeback." she said as her manager jumps up and down on the screen, laughing in happiness.

"however, i have one thing to discuss about." chungha quickly bought up, as her manager stopped jumping and stood silently, waiting for the question she's about to ask. "my partner..do you or the directors know who it is yet?" she asked slowly.

manager kim sat back down on his chair and looked at his email then shook his head, "for now, we don't know who it is yet. i guess the directors are still figuring out who fits best for the male lead." he answered, leaving chungha nodding to herself.

after an hour and a half of having a meeting through FaceTime, chungha shuts her laptop screen and watches the moonlight seep past her curtains and shine against the marble tiles in the living room. standing up and walking towards the huge windows that were covered by curtains, she moved the sheet to her side, watching the night view of Seoul and the bridge being lit up as it is now 12:30am.

giving time to think about herself and work, she heads towards her bedroom and closes the door behind her. listening to the bed make small noises after throwing herself onto her bed, she stares at the ceiling and let out a huge sigh. "i can't believe I'm doing this.." whispering to herself.

letting her eyes close slowly, she takes deep breathes to calm her nerves down then slowly drifting off to sleep. not too long after, notifications began to ring in the quiet room. messages from her manager began to pop on the screen, "i've found out that the directors have picked the male lead already. let's meet at the company and i'll give out more information."

keyboard noises were heard in a quiet, living room dorm where a bright light was lit and flashed in the somewhat dark area which exposes the face of the person behind the screen. the brunette male was wearing glasses to read emails and schedules that were sent from the manager for him to know some future schedules that were made just for him.

as the male was reading the emails, his eyes lit up. an upcoming drama needing a male lead as soon as they can. he thought to himself, "why would manager kei send this to me? don't tell me- he wants ME to be the male lead?!" as he finished reading at what manager kei had wrote at the end of the paragraph that was also sent in the email.

"midnight tokyo love..." he says quietly to himself, trying not to walk his members up. another email had popped up with the subject as "female lead" which caused him to shake in nervousness as he clicks on the link that took him to another window, showing who was the female lead. his face had the expression with shocked and scared at the same time.

kim chungha was the female lead for the drama. it started to make him overthink about the drama, worried that he might not be good enough for her and the drama and thinking he won't meet the expectations of the male lead they're looking for. another email popped up which distracted himself from overthinking about the drama situation as he opens the email.

"keigo, i know you're nervous and scared now after reading my email about who the female lead is and i apologize for scaring you, however, you should do it. i think this will be a fun project for you and you can actually start your acting career like you wanted! i'll give you some time to think about this role and if you're willing to do it, email me back whenever you can." the email reads as keigo gives a thought about the role.

since it's his first time acting, he might as well accept the male role and do it with no hesitation. besides, it'll give him many opportunities in the future and improve his skills as well as receiving advices from senior actors/actresses. keigo emailed his manager back and agreed to accept the male role of the upcoming drama.

the brunette sighed in relief but yet, still nervous about the upcoming drama especially with chungha, as she is well-known in the idol and acting world. he closes his laptop slowly, proceeded to get up and walked to his room slowly and quietly, ending the night for him.
