Chapter 6

^Nick's POV^

Once I woke up, I stayed in bed and scrolled through my Instagram for about half an hour. I finally decided to get out of bed. I quickly got a shower, brushed my teeth, and I decided to just let mt hair air dry. I grabbed a pair of clean sweatpants, and just threw on a random t-shirt I found in my closet. I went down stairs and was surprised to see that everyone was awake. Connor was making coffee, Trevor, JC, Sam, Ricky, and Kian were all watching tv. They were watching Futurama, so I decided to join them. I felt like trying to scare afew of the boys, and then I got an idea. Kian and Jc were sitting where they could see me behind the couch, so I held my finger to my lips, then pointed to the boys on the couch in front of me. I hopped over the back of the couch and landed in between Trevor and Sam, I heard quite a few girlish screams. Kian and JC broke out in fits of laughter.

"Jesus Christ, Nick, why did you do that?" Trevor questioned.

"I just felt like having some fun, and you guys have very girlish screams, so it was funny," I said, getting comfy on the couch.

"Well, it wasn't funny for me," Trevor said.

"Geez, sorry, Trev," I say.

"Trev, chill, it was just a joke, she didn't mean anything by it. Plus, it was pretty funny," Sam said.

"Yeah, whatever," Trevor grumbled.

"Anyways," Connor said as he walked into the living room- holding the coffee that took him forever to make.

"What do you want to do today, Nick?" Connor asked.

"We could have a movie day?" I suggested.

All the guys replied with a simple, "sure" or "yes".

Trevor got up and put The Fault in Our Stars in the DVD player, and then sat back down on the couch.I got up and went to the kicthen to get popcorn and I soon see Kian walkinto the kicthen as well. He walked over and stood by the counter and said,

"Do you wanna go to the 7-11 with me to pick up some candy?" He asked.

"Sure, why not?" I said.

"Okay, go get your pennyboard and meet me outside,"

"Okie dokie," I say pulling the popcorn out of the microwave.

I quickly dump the popcorn into a bowl and carry it into the living room, and hand it to Trevor.

I ran upstairs to grab my pennyboard, and a grey hoodie, that I quickly yank over my head, then went down the steps two at a time- I'm very surprised that I didn't fall flat on my face, or my ass.

"Guys, don't start the movie without us, and please don't eat all the popcorn. Kian and I will be right back," I say as I slip my phone into the pocket on my sweatpants.

Kian and I head outisde and start to skate to the nearest 7-11. We grabbed as much candy as we could. I dumped a large pile of candy onto the counter- which included sourpatch kids, skittles, gummybears, m&m's, starbursts, jolly ranchers, mike & ike's, whoppers, milk duds, swedish fish, and reese's pieces. Kian placed about twelve cans or arizona on the counter as well. The cashierrang up our items, Kian paid, then we grabbed the bags, and skated home.

We dumped the bags of candy in the middle of the living room floor, and everyone grabbed something.

We started the movie, and when it reached the part where Agustus dies, I was sittingthere, wrapped up in a blanket, wiping my eyes with the sleeve of my hoodie, and I couldn't stop sniffling. Why did this movie have to gbe so sad?

We watched a bunch of other movies then around four a.m.Sam, JC, Kian, Connor, and Ricky were asleep. Trevor and I were sitting there watching Mean Girls, then I laid my head on his shoulder, and began to doze off. I guess Trevor noticed that I was falling asleep, because she said,

"You know you can go to bed, right? I'll be fine alone."

"Oh, okay, I'll see you in the morning,I'm gonna go get in bed,"  I said as I got up and started walking upstairs.

I quickly got into my bed and pulled the duvet up to my chin, and quickly fell asleep.
