Tommy hoped from roof top to the next, using the pads on his feet to help soften the impact. His tail swooshing with adrenaline induced glee as he made it to the next. The small hunter was at least a roof behind. The distance only growing with each leap and jump made by the raccoon hybrid. The ear piece crammed in his ear crackled to life causing him to wince at the squeal of feed back it let out.

" There's another one coming in from the right. Be careful with your next jump and plan accordingly."

"Got it" Tommy gave the confirmation and continued to run. He wasn't even loosing his breath as he dodged the man made of what appeared to be pure muscle. Tubbo's "bee bot", as he called them, swooped into sight as Tommy lost the last of the hunters who had been at it for the past two hours. The earpiece gave another squeal and Tommy was given the okay to head back to the base, if you could even call it that.

"You did a good job" Tubbo said as Tommy finished taking off all of his gear and putting in the red stone powered safe that the goat hybrid designed and insisted they had installed into the already cramped apartment. Then proceeded to bandage the wounds on his arms and legs from the mission.

"It was a breeze" Tommy puffed out his chest. Then screamed as Ranboo teleported in front of him. That got a laugh out of the two.

"And you're too hairy." Ranboo only proved his point by pulling on of the many raccoon hairs littering everyone's clothes.

"It's not my fault it's shedding season!" Tommy yelled.

"And I can't control my height" Ranboo said with a smile causing Tommy to grumble about him being a bitch or something along those lines.

"Anyway.... Do we have enough food for dinner?" At the mention the raccoon could feel his stomach growl. He looked at Tubbo and Ranboo's sad expressions and knew exactly what it meant. They, in fact, didn't have enough food for everyone. "It's fine you guys can eat tonight. I'll just go to bed!" Tommy said trying his best to ignore the hunger pains after more than at least a week with only whatever garbage he can find to fulfill his appetite. Something that he could, and would never, tell his friends about. It looked like they were about to protest his decision, so he just smiled again and walked away before they got the chance to. On the way back to his room he could hear the hushed whispers of the other two voicing their concerns.

Money had gotten even more tight than it normally was after Tommy was fired from his past job for something he didn't even do. He needed to find a job before all of them had to go without a meal at least once a night. There was not a single way he was going to make them go through that again. After getting kicked out of the last orphanage that would even bat an eye in the direction of us three. Never again would he let them go through the pain and suffering it brought them all.

That night he couldn't sleep. How could he when he had a spring in his back and the only thing on mind was food. He decided, after staring at the water damage stain on the ceiling for over two hours, that he wasn't going to any time soon. Luckily, because of his raccoon heritage and natural night sight, he didn't have to risk waking up the other two by turning on lights to see where he was going. He made his way to the window in the living room and jumped out, landing gracefully on the fire escape below. Tommy climbed all the way up to the roof and stood on the ledge facing a landscape he knew all too well.

It was peaceful, the wind blowing through his blonde hair. The city lights shine brighter than the stars above. If only he could stay right here right now forever. The pain of an empty stomach long forgotten in the sights before him. But Tommy's bliss was short-lived when he heard rustling up above. What he said made him lose his balance. It was the number one three hero, the Angel of Death was his full title, but many just called him AD or simply just Death.

Tommy stumbled off the ledge and suddenly he was falling. Plummeting to his own death in the alley below. The wind was loud in his ears, but Tommy wasn't focused on that. No, he was more focused on the fact he was about to die. He wouldn't die because of old age, but being honest he expects to die before then, or a villain getting their last revenge. Falling because he got spooked by someone that shouldn't even be here.

The apartment where he lives was no short, in fact It had over ten levels and he was on the very top. Before Tommy could even accept that tonight was the night he met his doom, he was already in the arms of the winged man clad in green. The Angel of Death flew up and placed him back on the roof.

"I'm so sorry about that !" Death said with a look that screamed apologetic, but Tommy could fish out the concern Death was trying to mask. Tommy thought for a moment and knew exactly what the hero was thinking. He was thinking that Tommy was going to jump. I mean, who wouldn't think that after taking one look at Tommy. He was broke, dirty, and parentless. But he had no thoughts of doing such a thing. He was too busy kicking bad guy ass to want/need to. He may have thought about it once or twice. But that was before he met the people currently sleeping in the place he considered his home.

He looked at the man before and sighed. Thankful he had hid his features before coming up. If he didn't he would most likely be fighting for his life right now. The only thing stopping this was the fact the hero didn't recognize him, and the fact he was still apologizing profusely for scaring him. Still a situation he was glad he's avoiding. It would not have been a fun night if he hadn't. AD may seem like a nice man, but he could have a murderous side. Tommy had experienced it first hand.
