SUN HEEI am Park Sun Hee, a novel writer. I am 25 years old, and this was just a hobby for me before since I'm not fond of traveling or going out.
I just graduated from my home school; yes, I stopped studying because I had an accident before. I was paralyzed and bedridden for several years. But now, I am working at a Book Company as an Author Book Reviewer and writer. Some of the stories I've written are published on online book apps. Some of my books earn money and sometimes trend.
"Sun Hee, someone is looking for you in the meeting room," Ms. Choo Hee told me.
"Yes," I replied, so I stood up.
WOO SHIK
Kim Woo Shik, Head Writer of the largest team in the country where our novels are featured and turned into movies. My team always tops the voting because we are a talented team.
But now we are having problems because of what my ex is doing. Everything we worked hard for as a team has been taken away, and he took everything to make himself famous. He formed his own team while working with me. So if I can't convince Sun Hee now, we will be forced to close the office.
"Good morning," he greeted me.
"Have a seat."
"You wanted to talk to me?"
"Yes, I am Kim Woo Shik from Books~Movies and Drama Company, the Head Writer of our team," I introduced myself.
"Park Sun Hee."
I handed him my iPad and showed him the story. It's trending not just here in the country.
"Uh, this is my story, why?"
"The reviews and the story you're writing are great. Many also want to turn this into a movie and book once you finish it."
"Wait, who are you again?" she asked innocently. It seems she doesn't know me, so she's just looking at me.
"Where are you from that you don't know me?" - so annoying.
"Is it my fault that I don't know you?" - she asked innocently.
"Fine. I want you to work for my team."
"What if I don't want to?"
"Your accommodation, transportation, bonuses, medical assistance, and a salary of 50 thousand every month are free," I offered.
"But why me? There are many better writers online."
"You have the potential to become a famous writer and earn more than your current salary. Don't you want that?"
"I'll think about it."
"To tell you honestly, our team is weakening, so we need your help."
HEI RAN
Woo Shik is back, but it looks like bad news. He just smiled and sat down in a chair.
"He said he'll think about it," he opened up.
"What will we do if he doesn't agree?" I asked.
"We'll be forced to close down," he replied.
"If you had accepted the offer last time, we wouldn't be having these problems now," Do Yun interjected.
"What's wrong with you, Do Yun? Do you realize that we could get sued if we accept that?" I responded.
"We can just pay the fee," Do Yun said.
"The money you'll earn from your project will just go to paying our contract fee. Have you thought about that?" Woo Shik pointed out.
"Woo Shik is right; you should think more and not just talk," Jang Mi added.
