Chapter 121-Smile for yourself

Let's begin with the chapter now and just to avoid confusion, there's use of Chinese language in this chapter whose English translation is in brackets, italics. Hope you all won't get confused.

Akash's POV

After our heart to heart conversation, she stood up from my lap and wiping her tears, sat on the single seater couch.

I looked at Kriti who was already staring at Siya.

With hesitant steps, she proceeded to where Siya was sitting and kneeled down in front of her.

Siya looked at her and they both just stared at each other for sometime when Kriti broke the silence.

Taking her hands in hers, she said "Hi, I am Kriti 1st year...EC branch."

I then saw Siya's eyes widening and tears welled up in her eyes.

What's happening?

(Readers who don't remember, refer chapter 1- New life. This was how Kriti had introduced herself to Siya for the first time).

Taking her hands from hers, she looked in my direction and I saw tears were freely making it's way to her cheeks.

"Don't you want to talk to me?" Kriti asked.

Siya simply shook her head and hugging her legs close to her chest, buried her face in between her knees.

There were loud sobs indicating that she was really crying and I immediately stood up on my toes to comfort her when Kriti gestured me through her palms to sit.

"But when I introduced myself for the first time, you weren't crying, why now? Don't you like your roommate?" she asked.

She shook her head, again but she was still crying.

"Hmm...that's a big problem. Do you want to change your roommate?" she asked.

Siya nodded.

"Okay, let me arrange another roommate for you" she said and scurried to her room.

Me and Sid were confused what she was doing but we let her. After all, gaining Siya's forgiveness was up to her and only her actions could justify what she wanted to do.

When Siya didn't hear anything from her for sometime, she looked up from her knees.

Probably not finding Kriti here, she got confused.

Just when I was about to say something, Kriti emerged from her room in a totally different outfit.

One couldn't recognize it was her.

"Tada" she said chirping.

Approaching to Siya walking like a model, she peeked through her shades and said "how do you like your new roommate?"
