I wake up to find Marian has disappeared.
I know just where to find her.
I grab my bag. its almost dawn. I cant stay for long.
I walk over to the window and open it. I grab the edge and pull myself up. I almost lose my grip but save myself before I fell.
gripping to the metal railing I hoist myself up onto the roof.
I look to see Marian sitting on the edge of the roof
our special spot
I walk closer and notice that she was crying.
she turns around to face me, tears in her eyes
"Why do you have to leave?! Why? You can just stay here. you don't need to go. we can be a happy family again; just like how we were when Dad was still alive."
I kneel down and cup her chin in my hands.
"Hey, don't cry. like I said I'll be back soon. I just need space. Look after mum for me wont ya?"
I hug her.
"Goodbye Marian. I love you."
Those were the last words I said to her before I left.
