In Blüdhaven, nineteen-year-old Richard John Grayson returned home from work at Blüdhaven PD. "Wally, Spitfire, I'm home!" he exclaimed, walking into the house he shared with his boyfriend, Wallace Rudolph West, and their dog, Spitfire.

"Dickie!" Wally exclaimed, speeding up to him, picking him up bridal style, and carrying him over to the couch, Spitfire following. Wally plopped down on the couch, still holding Dick, and kissed him on the lips. He felt his boyfriend's smile on his lips.

The kiss lasted for a minute, then Wally pulled away, smiling. Dick grinned, and then looked away with a thoughtful expression on his face. Wally noticed this. "Whatchu thinking 'bout, Birdie?" he asked.

Dick turned to Wally with a faraway expression, which Wally loved. "I was just thinking," Dick said.

"What about?" Wally asked.

"About Tim and Bart."

Wally frowned. Why would Dick be thinking about the younger bird and speedster, unless - Oh. Oh. Realization hit Wally like a brick wall.

"You're thinking about the fact they both have a huge crush on each other, but are too scared to admit it," he said.

Dick nodded. "I mean, it's just so confusing!" he exclaimed angrily. "What's confusing about it?" Wally asked. "Timmy's one of the most shyest kids I've ever met."

Dick sighed. "I know that, Wallace," he said in exasperation. Wally frowned at the use of his full first name. "It's just that... Bart doesn't really strike me as shy," Dick continued.

"Me neither," Wally said.

"Maybe it's not that they're shy," Dick suggested. "What else do you think it might be?" Wally inquired. "Well, and this is just a thought, maybe they don't know about the other's feelings," he answered.

"You know, you just might be right," Wally told the ebony. Dick nodded, then jumped up. "We have to get them together," he said.

The ginger hopped up as well. "You're right, babe," Wally agreed. "But, do you think it can wait until tomorrow?" He yawned loudly. Dick laughed. "Of course," he said. "Let me change out of my uniform first, 'kay baby?"

"I'll help." came the eager response.

"I thought you were tired."

"I'm never too tired for you, babe."
