"well... that was intense." greta smirks, stalking behind me.

"oh, shut up. i could see your boner for blaise through that robe." i scoffed, turning around to greet my best friend with a smile.

"shush, you love me." she replies, linking our arms into one another's and dragging me to the common room.
                                                                                           -

lounging on the couch, roasting marshmallows in the common room fireplace, this is the life. i pity muggles and their sad lives, but not really. sometimes i envy them. they don't have to worry about the dangers of the wizarding world, they are blinded to the threats. my mind continues to wander until... ron weasley is cute. i never realized it until today.

"hellooo? anyone home, y/n?" pansy waves a hand in front of my face.

"what? sorry." i say, worried about my thoughts i was having showing through. daydreaming about, none the less, ronald weasley would be a death sentence in this room. this is when i realized my marshmallow was completely burned and on fire.

"fuck, y/n, blow out your damn marshmallow before the whole castle burns down." draco scoffs at me, i reply with my eyes rolled to the back of my head and one finger in the air; you can guess which one.

"i... think i'm gonna head back to my room for a bit." i say, feeling overwhelmed by my thoughts. everyone gives me some kind of hysterical look; almost like they know. maybe im just being paranoid.

"you're gonna miss history of magic... professor binns might literally murder you." greta says, obviously concerned about my education all of a sudden.

"that's okay, i can deal with binns when i cross that bridge. i'm honestly not feeling too well... can you all please take notes for me?"

"i will." draco says dominantly, immediately turning his head; narrowing his eyes directly at me.

"uh-thanks-uh malfoy. i appreciate it." i stutter before turning and running up the stairs to my dorm.

i can't feel like this. every time i close my eyes, i see him. why can't i shake him from my head? i decided to go to the only place that i can truly think in; the forest.

                                               -

leaning against my favorite tree, on the outer border of the forest so i don't get eaten by some mythical creature of course, i just lay and think. look up at the leaves, notice how free they are; but still clinging to the branch. sometimes, if you're lucky, you see them fall. but majority, just stay with that branch no matter how far the wind is pushing them.

weasley is my branch. no matter how hard the wind blows at me, i can't seem to get him out of my head. he's so gross, that ginger hair. if the curtains match the drapes, i could throw up my breakfast.

suddenly, that red hair that's been on my mind flashes across me. i shake my head, wondering if it was real or not, then whip it around to see him running towards hagrid's hut. i don't know what possessed me to follow, seriously i could not tell you, but i do. i follow until i reach the hut and start knocking on the door. as soon as the door opens, i'm presented with the entire trio, giving me glares.
