"I love you" the girl murmured softly to the blonde. With that, the blonde turned to face her and smiled at her, there were stars in her eyes the moment their gaze met.
"And I love you" she answered with a smile, that made the girl smile widely, she can feel her heart soar with the words she received.
"I don't know, I'm not doubting your love. How can say I love you like it's nothing? The words mean everything to me but how can you say it so effortlessly?" the blonde asked with curious eyes, she tilted her head to the side trying to think of an answer to her own question.
"I want to say these three words to assure you, that I'm always here for you, that everything you'll do, you'll have me to support on it. Saying how much I love you is something surreal" the girl answered, with the sweetest smile the blonde can see. Everything that has been said was marked in her heart, she felt giddy and all just because of those few words.
"Y/n, I don't know where your words are coming from but I'm liking it, no I mean I'm loving it" she said and hugged the girl, she felt the girl's arms wrapped around her in an instant. The warmth was so inviting, she felt like nothing is more important than where she was at right now.
"It's also an assurance for me Roseanne, saying I love you makes me feel how much I'm into you. But there's also something negative about it, these words are the only thing that makes me think that this is real" the girl whispered in her ears. The sincerity was evident in her voice, Rosé can feel the emotion that the girl was trying to hide.
"Saying these makes me think that I'm in reality, that I can decide the words that I'm saying. That this is not just a dream, or... An exception, a lucid dream?" the tremble in her voice made the blonde tighten her hold. This made her heart beat faster than it should be, she felt how vulnerable the girl was at the moment.
"It is" the blonde immediately covered her mouth, she didn't know where and why she had said that. But all of a sudden the girl in front of her buried her head in the crook of her neck. She can feel the tears that are cascading on her shoulder.
"So it's true, this is just a sweet escape from reality, none of this is true and all this are just made up of my imagination" the girl sob on the blonde's shoulder. Their hug tightens as if they will be separated. But the sad part is, they will get separated eventually, not by anyone, not physically from the hug, but from reality. That they have to accept one of them is not real and just pure imagination.

"What if it's not you but, me? It was my imagination" the blonde sobbed while having her head low thinking of the girl that made her feel everything but at the same time nothing.
