Ari's go to weapon is a AMXC sniper rifle, although finding the rounds for one is very hard to do. She keeps one with her on the off chance that she doe find the rounds. She does, however, carry an AK47, due to the high posibility of rounds all over the United States, and due to the high build rate of said rounds. One day, she was parousing around one of my frequent watchpoints when she spotted an unfamiliar body aproaching, carrying weapons of their own. Was it an intilligent zombie? Was it another human? Ari wasn't taking that chance.

"Ughhh" I groan quietly, throwing my head back, coming to a stop. In front of me was my bag of supplies, and staring me right in the face was the lack of food. As if on cue, my stomach let out a loud rumble.

'I should look for food around here. But where? This is new fucking territory.' I think, before slinging the bag over my shoulders. With a sigh, I start off, deciding north is often the best direction to go. Slipping inbetween trees to avoid the undead, I eventually spot a run down store in the distance, and pick up the pace. About ten paces away from the entryway of the building, I freeze, sensing someones, somethings, eyes on me. I look around, and finally catch sight of a figure a little ways into the distance. Friend? Foe? Hah! In this world? No ones your friend here, no fully. I tense, heightening my senses as I continue to stare at the figure like a deer in a pair of headlights.

Ari dove to the closest cover she could and aimed down the sights of her ak, aiming for the being.

'Actually, even if this being is an undead, I should fire a warning shot.' She thought to herself. She aimed at the tree line next to the being and fired, hoping it would pull back, telling her it would be a human, and hopefully they had food.

As a gunshot goes through the air, and I instantly dash for cover inside the store. I reach the door, and quickly yank on the handle, but it's locked. "Shit!" I hastily reach for the crowbar on my belt, and smash the glass, before bolting inside.

Bumping against shelves as I go, I grab what I need in a hurry, knowing whoever is out there is definitely not friendly. I halt, when a low growl hits my ears, and my head whips around. A particularly large undead stands before me, and I stop breathing for a moment.

'Shit, shit, shit!'

I make a run for the back room, and reach for my gun, before remembering it had been stolen in my sleep the night before.

'Shitfuck! I guess my knife will have to do goddammit!'

Bracing myself behind the doorway, I hear the all too familiar shuffling and groaning gradually getting closer. My heart beats rapidly inside my chest, and I take a deep, slow breath.

'You've got this. You're used to using this weapon, you know how to get it done.'

The shuffling stops, and a loud snarl pierces the air. It found me.

Ari aims her weapon at the newfound target. 'Hell yeah. A human.' The target rushes to the building she constantly watched as she heard a twig snap from right next to her. As she turned, an undead with its jaw hanging from one singular hinge, rushes her, grabbing her weapon and shoving her to the ground.

In the second it took for her to look over, she noticed that the human had escaped into the building before she could get off another shot.
