SQUID GAME [TWICE VERSION]

For Money

Tzuyu want to call her parents through a phone call but she can't. She is just staring at her phone since she came home. She don't know what to do. She can't face her parents just like that for sure they will help her but they will be very dissapointed to her so she will do it by her own, she badly needs money to pay her debts.

While she was staring at her phone, someone suddenly knocks on the door.

She quickly stood up and went towards the door just to find her business partner/friend, Im Nayeon.

"Unnie? What are you doing here?."Tzuyu asked

"Just checking on you. What are you doing?."Nayeon asked as Tzuyu take up her phone and the older quickly get it
"Still doubting to call them? I'm sure they will help you. Why don't you atleast try?."Nayeon said

"No. They will be very dissapointed to me. I don't want them to know that the perfect daughter they know will do things like that."Tzuyu said lowering down her head

"If you can't call your parents for their help then don't worry. You're smart and studied in a good school. For sure you can awalys earn money."Nayeon said

"How can I earn? Six billion?."Tzuyu said which Nayeon got shocked

"Six billion? I thought it's only 500 million?."Nayeon said in shock
"How about Sana?."Nayeon ask out of the blue

"Sana? I don't know. You know how strict my parents is when it comes to the person I want to be with."Tzuyu said looking down

"They are still allergic to Sana? The girl like Sana is so rare. You can't find a girl like her."Nayeon said

"But they don't care how good Sana is, what they care is about money. They want me to marry someone who is the same as me and I hate that."Tzuyu said in a sad tone

"And you will not do anything to fight for her?."Nayeon asked

"Soon unnie, when the time comes. When I already solve all of my problems."Tzuyu said

"And what solution will you do? To join that deadly game again?."Nayeon asked

"I still don't know, unnie."Tzuyu look away

Silence filled the room.

"I want to join the game again."Nayeon started

"Why?."Tzuyu asked

"Same as you I have a big debt and I need to pay for it before it's too late. You know your business partner Tuan he will definitely kill me if I didn't pay him back."Nayeon said which Tzuyu look at her in a sad eyes

"I want to help you, but I can't."Tzuyu said but Nayeon shook her head

"You don't need to help me. We are just in the same situation. The game is still up we can win and get the money together."Nayeon said with a smile

"Sana ya!."Momo said the moment she saw Sana at the store

"Momoring?."Sana said as Momo went towards her way

"Are you okay? Did you already talk to Tzuyu?."Momo asked

"I didn't. I'm afraid that she will just ignore me again."Sana said in a sad tone

"Is that the reason why you joined that game?."Momo asked which Sana nodded her head

"Yes and I want to prove to her parents that I am deserving to be with their daughter. That game was my only hope for me to live with Tzuyu forever."Sana said with a force smile

"Did you know what's the reason why Tzuyu joined that game?."Momo asked

"No. I just accidentally saw her there and I didn't expect that she will help me to win the first game. She acts cold but still she care for me."Sana smile, the smile that you can really see through her eyes

"I'm happy that I saw that smile again."Momo smiled

They stayed in silence until Momo spoken up again.

"I... I received their business card again. I want to join again. Me and my mother needs to go back to Japan. My sister is in danger."Momo pause as she take a look at Sana
"We can win the prize money together, Sana chan. Come and join me"Momo said tapping her back

"I'll think about it."Sana said

"Chaeyoung Are you alright?."Chaeyoung's friend asked

"My mother. She's sick I can't do anything. I don't have money to pay her hospital bills."Chaeyoung said with a teary eyes

"What about Mina? She can still help you, right?."she said but Chaeyoung shook her head and turn to face her

"I promise to her mother that I will never take her money. I don't want to ruin that promise. I can do this okay?."Chaeyoung said as the girl just nodded her head she had nothing to do if Chaeyoung decides you can never complain

"I planed to join that game again."Chaeyoung said

"But if Mina was here she will never accept that."she said as Chaeyoung look down before she answers

"But that was my only hope. I can give her the life she want. We will never be hurt again. I can pay for my mother's hospital bill and I can find my father. That game is only my choice."Chaeyoung said

"I don't know what game is that but I think you better not try to went to that game again."she said as Chaeyoung look away

"But how about my mother? I.."she cutted her off

"Mina can help you with that, Chae. You don..."before she could finish her sentence Chaeyoung spoke up

"How about my dignity? I just don't want to depend on her. I also want to lift myself and my family, which I am working on. She got too much for me, you know that."Chaeyoung said as her friend have nothing to say anymore

On the other side. Mina was hiding at the wall where the two can't find her. She didn't mean to listen to their conversation. She was here just to tell Chaeyoung not to join the game but other side of her is hesitating too.

Chaeyoung and her have a little arguments that's why she can't just stick herself with the latter and for some other reasons.

"Ms. Yoo Jeongyeon I know you're there. Just have some talk to us, we will not hurt you."an officer said outside Jeongyeon's Condo

"Mr. Jung please tell them I'm not here."Jeongyeon said to her neighbor

The old man just nodded his head as he told the cops.

After a moment her neighbor came back.

"Ms. Yoo, the cops are already gone."Mr. Jung said

"Thanks Mr. Jung."Jeongyeon tapped his shoulder

If you're wondering the cops are chasing Jeongyeon because of the million won debts. She didn't pay it since last year. Jeongyeon was changing her place every months just to run away with her debts.

She didn't want to do it but what else can she do. She had no money to pay back. How can she get a million won in an instant.

While hiding at her place. Someone suddenly knock on her door. She immediately look for who is it but found nothing.

She look left and right but still found nothing. Her gaze suddenly went to the ground and find the card that she received days ago. She quickly get it and stare at it.

"I think I could join again."Jeongyeon mumbled

"Dahyun ah, your sister needs to study abroad and you are the only one who can help her."Dahyun's mother said but Dahyun can't do anything but to agree even though she don't have anything to do

She just stare at their front door thinking what would she do.

Dahyun was her family's only hope. Since her father died she become the breadwinner. Her mother was helping her by selling street foods at the market but that didn't help for her sister's education.

Back to the story. There was someone knock on the door and a card suddenly come out from the ground. She stood up and take it.

"It was the business card that, that man gave me..."Dahyun mumbled
