Chapter 5

Rosie's pov

The film ended and codens arm was almost around me. For god sake I was a grown woman, classed as "old" now I guess and I've been acting like a little girl. Everyone began to stand up

'It was lovley meeting you Rosie, we will see you tomorrow, for breakfast' Paula smiled

'Sure' I smiled and started to head out. I then felt a arm grab hold of mine. I turned around

'Coden' I said surprised

'Hey, thought I'd walk you home' he laughed. Knowing that it was not far, and it's inside

'Okay, sure' I replied. I felt slightly awkward yet I liked his presence

'So what's it like out there' he asked

'Horrible, I've seen things no one should see, people who have just given up on life, kids, children die and take there own life, men, evil men who want to harm and hurt you and others, some members came, they were lovely, but there past caused use to get locked up, torcherd and we lost a baby and...' Why was I going so deep into this. Tears were flooding

'Bad' I whisperd. I saw the sympathy in his eyes

'Im sorry' he whisperd

'Its okY, there in the better place' I whisperd. I felt his arm wrap around me

'I can't stay with you tonight if you want, my first night I felt so alone, ill sleep on the couch no problem' he offerd. I thought about it. He was only going to sleep on the couch after all.

'Sure, I'd like that' I smiled, wiping a tear away. I walked into my living area

'Spear blankets are in the top section of the wardrobe' Coden smiled

'Thanks' I walked over to the wardrobe and funnily enouf there was some blankets. I pulled them down and handed the, to Coden who layed on the sofa. I climed into my bed.

'Night' he whisperd

I turned and and shut my eyes.

Dream

'Hey, we know where you are and were comeing, your never safe, and were never stopped' cal spat in my face. I was tied to a tree in a field. Around me was filed and cal and his gang

'Now, lets snow Rosie the punishment for running away, more than once' he evily grinned then whistled. Suddenly out of the blue aloud of blanks came over. I couldn't move. I tryed screaming and braking free, but you can't scream in dreams. As the got closer my attempts to escape got more violent. They were right in front of me there dirty nails started ripping into my stomach and pulling my insides out, weird thing was I could feel the pain, the horrific pain on nails cut into your flesh and tearing it out. I was screaming now in pain.

Dream over

I was awoken but my own screams. Coden was in front of me alone with Sally

'Hey sweetie, I herd your having a bad dream' she whisperd. I couldn't speek just Heavy breathing. I patterd my stomach. It was okay

'Ive made some tea, drink up, it's herbal it should help' she smiled and placed a steaming cup next to me.

'Ill leave you now' she gave a sympathetic smile then walked off.

'You okay, you where screaming like a mad woman and kicking' he whisperd rubbing my head

'Yeah' I breathes out 'it felt so real, I'm find' I gave a convincing smile

'Want me to get in bed with you, so you feel safe' he asked. I guess it wouldn't meen anything.

'Sure' I said, picking up my tea and taking a sip. I put the cup down next to me as Coden climed in

'Your a strong woman' he whispered

'Some are stronger' I replied, remembering Sarah and the others. I turned over and shut my eyes.

'Big shit happend in such a small world' he sighed

'Big is such a small word for its meaning' I whispered back.

I awoke the next morning. Alone. I sat up and saw Coden on the sofa.

'Hello' I rasped In that morning voice

'Hey, I was waiting for you to get up so we could go for breakfast, she's doing bacon, eggs, sausage, and herd potatoes (OMG best food everrrrrr) fresh orange juice' Coden smiled

'Sound good, lets set off soon, when I get back Ill shower and change' I smiled. He nodded and I followed him out of my room and down to the food quarters.

When we arrived at the food quarters I went and sat with Molly and all that.

'Herd you had a rouf night sleep, are you alright now' asked Paula 'yeah' I smiled

'Well Im off to get some food' mickey said

'Agreed' Coden said who then went off with Steven I was going to follow but Paula pulled me down

'Tell me all' she said excitedly

'What?' I asked confused

'You and Coden, he was on your bed, what happened do you have feeling for him' Molly asked

'Were not teen age girls so why are we acting like them and nothing happend, he comferted me and that's all. The only feeling I have towards him is friendship' I said, putting my arms up defence.

'If you say so' Molly giggled. I rolled my eyes and stood up

'Now of you don't mind me girls I have a date, with a bacon sandwich' I stood up and walked over to the food conter. A little boy came up to me

'You know my mummy' he said. He looked around 6

'Ermm your nico right' I asked

'Yep, where still waiting for my sister you seen her' he asked. I guess he wasnt told that his sister never made it and was still comeing. Bless.

'No sorry, but I will look out for her' I smiled. He then ran off and Molly popped up behind me

'Thank, I don't want to tell him, it will upset him, he was really close to her, twins infact' she whisperd

'I guessed' I replyed.

I got my food and headed back to the table. Sally then came over

'Hey honey, there's a man, outside the walls, he's looking for you' I felt my heart speed up...had cal found me....
