The sharp, stabbing pain in the back of my neck exploded across the rest of my body.
"This is it. My time has come." I thought to myself. Unfortunately, I ended up being wrong. Completely wrong.

"Spencer. Wake up!" my roommate, Ethan was violently shaking my bed from the bottom bunk.
It was unusual for Ethan to wake me up, and it was even more unusual for him to wake me up on a Saturday morning, when we didn't have class.
"What do you want Ethan?" I grumbled, disappointed in the fact that he had disturbed my sleep.
"Where's my speaker? I've been looking for it all morning."
I check the clock.
"9:17" my digital clock read from across the room.
"Let me sleep I'll help when I get up." I said, exhaustion overwhelming my body.
We had both been out at the bar late last night, so I was confused why Ethan had woken up so damn early.
As I contemplated possible circumstances, I felt the calming feeling of absolute fatigue wash over my body.
As I sunk into the warm, silky abyss of sleep, I felt a slight, electric tingling in my spine. I wish I would've listened to Ethan.
