Disclaimer~ I do not own either My Hero Academia or Wizard101. I just enjoy both and thought it would be interesting to combine them.

You do not need to know the story behind Wizard101 to read this story.

It has been four and a half years since I last had been home, or at least what I had thought of as home. I have spent four and a half years in a universe that is so very different but so similar to my home world. I have spent four and a half years since I had last been called by my actual name, not some made up name that was given to me upon enrollment in a school for magic called Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, or as it is more widely known as throughout the Spiral, Ravenwood Academy. I have spent four and a half years playing a hero for a set of worlds that are not my own, fighting battles and wars for a set of worlds that are not my own.

The headmaster of this school is an old man named Merle Ambrose who had supposedly called me to this world. He had called me Dylan Thunder, at least my last name was partially accurate even if it was in its English translation. It is not like many called me by my name anyway, it was always 'young wizard' this 'young wizard' that, and only in one world I fought through I had been called 'spellbinder' instead, but it was the same thing just a different title.

It all seemed like a game at first, a terrifying game, but a game, nonetheless. After having been attacked by a man named Malistaire when I was being enrolled and having been sorted in the School of Storm Magic, I decided play along with what the headmaster asked of me, it soon became something I had fun with, a game where I was the main character. I got to see worlds that had parallels to my own world's history. I fought with all my heart determined to never lose. Losing was never an option, after all I had to get home, there is a fight there too, one I need to participate in.

I traveled through my first five worlds of the Spiral with the goal of defeating Malistaire. I started in off in Wizard City, then was sent to a world which reminded me of Ancient Egypt called Krokotopia, a world full of British dogs and cats called Marleybone, a world where the people spoke my native tongue Japanese called MooShu, and a world full of the undead Dragonspyre.

In Dragonspyre I defeated the very first villain, who sought to destroy everything just to bring back his wife from death, I was set up against Malistaire. Immediately after I defeated him, I was sent to compete in a tournament called the Spiral Tournament in a world known as Wysteria where I won, but still had to clean up one more mess that Malistaire had created, given no time to rest.

Almost immediately after the tournament, the headmaster sent me off again to help another world full of bears called Grizzleheim, and the to another world full of celestial magic called Celestia where I fought through and helped those who needed it as I continued learning from my teachers, but I found another villain who sought to destroy life as it is known within this universe, her name is Morganthe the Shadow Queen, and unlike the previous villain, I was not sure I would win against her.

Things had been looking good, looking like I was a few steps ahead, up until I was heading to face the villainess in a world that was thought to have been destroyed already called Azteca, where it turns out I had lost, even temporarily. I defeated her undead minion, an undead version of Malistaire who I had killed previously, and I sent him back to death. But even then, it was too late, Azteca had magical meteors heading its way, and it was going to be destroyed by Morganthe, and there was nothing I could do, I was too many steps behind. Those who had been guiding me around the world sent me back to Ravenwood to report what had happened to the headmaster, saying that they would rather stay and meet their fates than to flee. Leaving them to their fate hurt worse than anything else, and at twelve almost thirteen, a world was completely destroyed and lost because I had not been able to stop the Queen in time. So, I left and was then sent to yet another world a world of mice and mantises called Khrysalis and ended up becoming a spy, a traitor, and a leader of a revolution in one sweep, where after a year of fighting I finally defeated the villainess, the Shadow Queen Morganthe, gaining another title "The Child of Light and Shadow" as I had to learn the darkest magic of them all to defeat the queen, shadow magic.
