5. DISCUSSING A CASE

And she again focused on making coffee for all the team members. Sakshi left from there in anger and Arjun was feeling proud of her. He smiled seeing a strong, independent and a spot responder Riya.

After making the coffee for all, Riya was coming back with a tray in her hands and she met Arjun at the Kitchen entrance.

Riya - Arjun, aap yaha?

Arjun - Are yr tumhe itni jaldi mera naam bolne ki aadat kyu ho gayi. Thoda aur waqt lagati.

Riya (Confusingly) - Kya?... Kyu?

Arjun - So that I could kiss you again.

Riya - Ab aap kuch zyada hi apne character se bahar nahi nikal rahe? Arjun hai, Arjun hi rahiye. Krishna kyu banne ki try kar rahe hai?

(Kya aap sabko bhi yahi lagta hai ke Arjun out of character ja raha hai???😜😜😜)

Arjun - You are a romance killer. Tum kabse itni serious ho gai?

Riya - NCB Chief asehi nahi bani hu, ab chale???

And she walked away in a Chief mode...😎😎😎

Arjun also followed her till the conference room. They both entered together. Sam again tried to tease them.

Sameer - Kyu lovebirds, abhi to time spend kiya tha. Aur kitna time spend karoge? Case nahi dekhna kya?

Arjun was going to answer him in his "Samjhe Ya Samjhau" style but Riya spoke up first.

Riya - Nahi Rathod sir, aapki love story plan kar rahe the.

(To Arjun) Are Arjun, aapne kya naam bataya tha ladki ka???.... Aisha, right?... Your junior and colleague???

All were shocked knowing this piece of information. Aisha was looking at Sam curiously. Arjun was smirking listening this.

Arjun and Riya knew that, now only Sameer can tell her about his dil ki baat so, they wanted to change the topic.

Riya - Ye kese papers hai sir?

Sakshi - Aaj ke case ke papers hai. 6od do tumhe samaj nahi aayege. Tum ek ETF officer nahi ho.

Riya (With a sarcastic humour) - Vo to tum bhi nahi ho Miss Sakshi Anand, Crime Journalist. To fir tum yaha kis crime ki reporting ke liye aayi ho?

Raghav (Slowly to Arjun & Sam) - Boss se kuch nahi 6ipta. Pata nahi kese unhe sab pata chal jata hai. Ab in mohtarma ki to lagi class.

Arjun and Sam tried to stop their laugh. The reason being the expressions of Sakshi's face. She was flabbergasted.

Sakshi - Tumhe kese pata ke main kon hu???

Shree - Kyuki Ri bhale hi aaj ETF ka hissa na ho but vo ETF ke sath kam kar chuki hai aur vo humari research specialist hua karti thi.

Chhotu - Asi koi information nahi hai jo Ri se 6ip sake. In fact use to Aisha aur Lisa ke bare me bhi pata hoga.

All were talking but Riya was focusing elsewhere. She was looking at the victim's dead body's photos.

Riya - Aur atleast tum mujhe ye nahi bata sakti ke main kya kar sakti hu aur kya nahi. You're not even an officer. To mujhe mera kam mat sikhao, you're not eligible for that. Mujhe dubara ye na batana pade varna tumhari ego ko ye acha nahi lagega.

(To Sam) Sir, kya is case ka murderer pakda gya hai?

Aisha - Yes ma'am, dulhe ka dost hi khooni hai.

Riya was looking at a particular photo. Arjun was observing her. After some time she spoke up.

Riya - Nahi Aisha, murder dulhe ke dost ne nahi kiya hai. Balki, murderer ek ladki hai.

Arjun - Tumhare kehne ka matlab kya hai Riya?

Sakshi - Haa, tumhe kya lagta hai ke bakio ne jo investigation ki hai vo galat hai???

Aisha/Lisa - Shut up, Sakshi!!!

Raghav - Boss, kya chal raha hai aapke dimaag me?

Riya - Raghu, ye dekh. Is photo ko dhyan se dekh, tujhe kya nazar aa raha hai?

All were seeing the photo keenly. Suddenly, Arjun spoke up.

Arjun - Are yr, ye point mere dimaag se kese nikal gya? Ye to Rahul ki engagement ring hai.

All were confused except Riya and Raghav.

Riya and Arjun showed them their engagement rings and Riya asked them...

Riya - Maine ye ring konse hath ke finger me pehni hai? Aur Arjun ne kis hath ki finger me?

Sameer - Left hand ki apni ring finger me aur Arjun ne uske right hand ki ring finger me.... (After a second) Ofcourse, ladkiya apni engagement ring left hand me aur ladke right hand me pehente hai. Itni badi galti kese ho gai humse???

Arjun - Exactly, khooni koi ladki hi ho sakti hai because khoon karne ke bad khooni vaha se nikalne ki hadbadi me hota hai aksar.

Riya - Jo aapki ye khooni bhi hogi but being a girl, subconsciously usse ye galti ho gayi.

Raghav - Oh yes.... You are right Boss.

Sameer - Damnittttt Shree, Rajeev ki peshgi rukvao court me.

Shree - Already on it, sir.

Aisha - You're genius ma'am. Ye baat to hum me se kisike dimaag me aayi hi nahi thi.

Riya - Please Aisha, mujhe ma'am mat bulao. Hum lagbhag ek hi age ke to hai.

Chhotu - Vese Ri... Tu ACP kab bani?

Raghav - 1 year pehle hi Boss ka, mera aur Trisha ka promotion hua tha. Mukharjee ko as ACP aur mujhe and Trisha ko as Senior Officers NCB me appoint kiya gya tha.

Riya - Main to tab Delhi Police ka hissa thi. Magar achanak se NCB Commissioner, Sharma Sir ka call aa gya mujhe to join NCB as team Chief.

I was surprised at first but then I accepted the appointment and came back to Mumbai. And here, I met my batchmates, Raghav and Trisha. We were together in the police academy.

I was thinking to come and meet you guys but jaise hi maine apni post sambhali, ek ke bad ek cases aate gaye aur hume yaha ke sabse bade drugs mafia ke baare me jankari mili. 6 months tak intezaar kiya tha humne use pakdne ke liye. Aur fir 6 mahine lag gaye hume jaal bi6ane me. Aur tab jaake Altaf hath laga hai.

Aisha - ICE PRINCESS!!!

Raghav - How do you know that?

Riya - Because Raghav, yehi Nadiya hai jo ke mujhe yaani ki Ice Princess ko directly report karti thi.

All except Raghav - YOU ARE THAT ICE PRINCESS???

Riya (Covering her ears) - Ufff... Relax guys and yes I'm that Ice Princess.

Arjun - To vo tum thi jiske karan humesha drugs consignments pakde jate the?

Raghav - Yes, Mukharjee ne apne network ka kafi ache se istemaal kiya tha.

Everyone were shocked and proud to know that it was Riya who did this, except Sakshi. She got a call and she went outside to talk.

She came back inside and saw everyone praising Riya about something and she made an irritating face. She was going to say something annoying again but stoped as Arjun and Sameer glared at her.
