Chapter 1

(Annabella's POV)

I woke up to the usual noise of my neighbors dog barking in their backyard on the chain, poor pittbull, a dog should never live on a chain.

I got up and put on a PTV shirt, black skinnies, converse, and a beanie.

I went down stairs to make breakfast, but thanks to Machonne, my jet-black cat that I named after the badass character on The Walking Dead, I got distracted and sat on the couch petting her. I always loved cats, I've had Michonne since I was 15. I'm 21 now.

(A/N: Gerard is 23 in this story)

After I got done petting Machonne I actually got to making breakfast I went outside on my porch and sat down in an old wooden chair my grandfather made me when I turned 19. he always new I liked the chairs he made in his workshop.

I saw some people moving in next door, so I decided to greet them. I walked over to the fence and saw a man about my age wearing an Anthrax shirt, glasses, and a beanie carrying some boxes.

"Hey!" I said.
"Hi!" He yelled back walking to the fence where I was.

"You guys moving in I see?" I asked.
"Yeah, me and my brother, Gerard, I'm Mikey. Mikey Way." He said.

"Annabella Fraser" I told him shaking his hand.
"So I can tell by your accent that you're Scottish?" He asked.
"Yeah" I answered, "I moved here about half a year ago, or something along that"

"Cool, me and Gerard are from New Jersey" he said pointing at the house, I guess Gerard's in there

I took a glance at his neck to see what his soulmate tattoo was, and it was a moon. Everyone's soulmate tattoo is on their neck.
I take a look at my watch and then realized that I was going to be late to work if I didn't leave now.

"Hey Mikey I would like to talk some more, but I have to get to work. I'm sorry." I told him
"No, it's okay I'll see you later Annabella!" He picked up the box, and started to go in the house.
"See ya!"
